Owner description: The Kayenta Community, in southern Utah's red rock country, is a tranquil enclave surrounded by protected lands.A 2,000 acre master planned community of fine homes, custom building sites and community amenities, is located 7 miles west of St. George, Utah. Kayenta is a unique departure from the norm, focused on moderate land use, moderate-sustainable growth, and an appreciation for our magnificent natural setting. Nearby, residents find adventure in the southwest's abundance of places to explore. Zion National Park, Snow Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Park are within view. While just beyond the horizon, adventure seekers will discover places like the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and Las Vegas.

“Interesting Place”

We toured an open house and got a good idea of what it would be like to live here. Great view of red cliffs. Modern homes. Pretty upscale, mostly because of the view. Coyote Gulch had lots of expensive art and the restaurant was good, but a bit pricy.

“Hidden gem!”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

Gorgeous scenery, lovely objets d' art, incredible coffee and nice, down to earth staff. My only complaint would be that there aren't enough shops to spend the entire afternoon. I purchased a couple pieces of jewelry at what I think are very reasonable prices for one of a kind pieces. Even in the shops where I didn't spend money, I was made to feel welcome. Loved sitting in the outdoor seating area enjoying an amazing cup of coffee and people watching. Everything from VERY high end, mixed media pieces to very inexpensive pottery and glass.

“A good place to visit while in St. George”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

What a beautiful place, very relaxing and unusual desert scenery. The shopping area has a wonderful cafe and some very nice art stores. This is a great place to have some coffee and look thru the stores. The art festival is in October and it is really good.

Beautiful scenic location hidden at the base of Red Mountain. Several small shops to visit. Always a treat to see what's new.

The area is very scenic. But we like to visit the artist gallery community up there. They also have the occasional festival. I can't say that i've ever bought anything but it's a nice looksy.
