Owner description: The Kayenta Community, in southern Utah's red rock country, is a tranquil enclave surrounded by protected lands.A 2,000 acre master planned community of fine homes, custom building sites and community amenities, is located 7 miles west of St. George, Utah. Kayenta is a unique departure from the norm, focused on moderate land use, moderate-sustainable growth, and an appreciation for our magnificent natural setting. Nearby, residents find adventure in the southwest's abundance of places to explore. Zion National Park, Snow Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Park are within view. While just beyond the horizon, adventure seekers will discover places like the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and Las Vegas.

This place is almost beyond description..the red cliffs are astonishing in height, but more so in the chanhing colours of the day...cool moring shadows. bleaching midday heat, and delicate evening hues...enen rain change depth of colours and enables cascades and falls to appear.....Pardon the americanism...but awesome!

I stopped here during a visit to St. George for lunch and boy am I glad that I did. There are several galleries and a sculpture garden to explore. I also had a terrific lunch at Xetava Garden Grill.

I visited some friends in Kayenta Utah and it was amazing! The community is so unique and fun. There always seemed to be something going on at the Kayenta Art Village. Xetava, the cafe located in the Kayenta Art Village, serves delicious food and drinks, and all of the art galleries, especially Juniper Sky and 873 Art Galleries, carry fantastic pieces of art. If you are anywhere close to Southern Utah I would definitely go out of your way to discover and explore this hidden treasure.

The natural art of the creation in the mountains that surround you combined with the art of man will capture you and not let you go. Enjoy the good food, the drinks, and the wonderful people that live in the community. This is my favorite spot for coffee!
