“Sarah suite ROCKS!”
Reviewed September 30, 2006

WOW! I can't wait to stay here again. Ultra Friendly staff and a great suite I shared with my brother on the way to the North Rim. We just needed a place to relax for the night before our road trip and this is exactly what I needed. Two bedrooms, two baths and another room with a full size Model T Jacuzzi!
Talk about comfort. The beds were excellent and I melted as soon as I hit mine. We had a lovely sandwich out on our own front porch, watching the neighborhood out on their evening strolls.

Since we are from Las Vegas now, it had a feel of back home in Michigan with tree lined streets and fresh crisp air.
You have a beautiful parlor just outside your room with a game table, and the older journals from past residents. Lots of interesting reading. When you wake in the morning, the first thing that hits you is fresh homemade smells coming from the kitchen, you can't wait to get out there and eat.

The decor in the rooms we looked at, they are all open, was carefully chosen for the periods in which they were originally occupied, with the little luxury of added convenience. A huge gas pump in the Sarah Suite was converted into a lamp.

This Inn treated us as if we were family, and I know I will be a repeat visitor from now on.

  • Liked — location, easy access, friendly staff, great breakfast, relaxing sleep.
  • Tips/Secrets — There is a Smiths grocery right down the street. For a nice peaceful dinner, get something from there and have it out on the front porch of the Sarah Suite.

Clean room (the "Caroline") though old house obviously means bathroom not entirely up to snuff (tub with old shower curtain all around and nowhere to place your stuff). Friendly staff. Pretty good breakfast. We didn't use it but pool is small - probably good for kids.

Decent location overall. Tree lined streets. Caddy corner from Brigham Young's winter home.

As Innkeepers we appreciate all reviews, however we feel we the need to correct inaccurate information posted in this review. It is a standard for our Inn to provide fresh daily towels as well as Gilchrist & Soames spa collection toiletries, daily maid services, etc.

This was our first experience with a B&B. Absolutely delightful! Friendly and attentive staff. The breakfasts are gourmet (and to die for...i.e. granola parfait). Very romantic and secluded. We needed driving directions and the innkeeper printed them out for us!! Great stay...will return with our children!! Children and pets are welcome here!

Forget those old reviews!! This place rocks!! Great service, warm, inviting rooms (I checked out all the rooms in our house since the doors are left open before people check in!) and unbelievable breakfast!!
Since this was our first experience with a B&B I don't really have anything to compare it to but we really had a great experience here.
If you're planning a trip to Zion or just driving through Utah you must make a stop at this inn. We stayed for two nights (wanted to stay for a week!) but many people were just "passing through" and were gone first thing Saturday morning. Of course nobody left before breakfast! You have a choice of 3 different entrees each day plus juice, coffee, tea, muffins, etc. The staff really is great and they pay attention to detail!!!
The location is in the heart of St. George so you're always only 5 - 10 min. from any place else in St. G./Bloomington.
We cannot say enough good things about this place or the people who run it. Go see for yourself!!

The old reviews on this establishment must have been written during the management of the previous innkeeper. I understand that the new owners are the grandchildren to the original owners of the inn, and they are doing an excellent job. The inn has a very historical flavor and the service and food wad excellent. It was a great spot for my 25th Anniversary.

A long time customer of Seven Wives Inn, I was extremely pleased during my last stay during Christmas 2004. They were more than willing to make other reservations for me, help me with my luggage, etc. Their breakfasts are excellent and filling.

During November 2004, the ownership changed, and the place is run *much* better than it was before. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting St George.
