Have stayed at this property in the past, but this was first stay here in about a year. Have stayed at many, many Hamptons in the US and Canada in the past (HHonors Diamond level). Here just for a night en route elsewhere. The building is older and needs a facelift; just looks worn. Hallways and public areas are very loud/noise-filled. Basic Hampton breakfast w/same ol' problem of kiddies on the loose touching the food (yuck) and then not taking it. We spent very little time here, as we just needed a place to sleep and then get back on 15 to keep driving. It is very close to 15. Fine for this purpose, but not much else.

Rooms clean. Has swimming pool. Staff mixed. Overall a grim experience for us. Even at breakfast the juice was one small glass- no more!.Nothing would redeem this hotel for us, glad we were just passing through. Traveling with tour group ( Irish travel dept) We spent 4 hours visiting Mormon Tabernacle--this was not on out itinerary. Jet lag & exhaustion standing in the sun for nearly 4 hours did not help.( All I could think of was the swimming pool!!! ). This is not a reflection on our Mormon hosts, who were lovely people.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn for four nights. From the moment we checked in till the check-out time, we've been treated with courtesy by their entire staff: front desk, maintenance staff, and dining area attendants. Everyone was very friendly.

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable (they are on the soft sides, for those of you with back issues). There's an extra blanket in the closet, but we didn't need it. We traveled with our 6-month-old son, and the hotel provided a clean pack-n-play and bedding. The first crib was broken, they immediately sent a replacement. The only complaint I have about the room is the A/C that was making an annoying whistling noise the first night. It went away the rest of the stay.

What I really liked about the hotel was their complimentary breakfast. There were a lot of choices, two hot items, bagels, donuts, two waffle makers, cereal, fruit, coffee, juices etc. Free hot breakfast adds a lot of value to the stay, otherwise, we'd have to spend additional $10+ per person to go out to eat. There is a fridge, coffee maker and a microwave in the room, though. However, no space to prepare meals.

The location is great too, right off the freeway. There is Village Inn right next to the hotel, also a pizza place, buffet, sushi, burgers and other restaurants within walking distance. Also outlets and a mall nearby.

There is an outdoor pool at the hotel, we didn't visit it, but it seemed crowded. There were people coming/going all the time.

I was very happy with my stay and will visit again if in the area.

Stayed 3 nights at St George. Typical Hampton Inn, modern, clean, consistent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast done well, again, consistent with expectations of this chain. Refrigerators in room - very helpful. Conveniently located, just off I-15, restaurants and shopping in immediate area.

We stayed 6/24-6/27 at the Hampton Inn in St. George for a family reunion. Our stay was wonderful! From the moment we checked in all of the staff were courteous and helpful. No request, no matter how odd or small, was ever turned down. Special kudos to the sales coordinator, Zach Gates, who was especially helpful throughout the planning of our reunion. Everything we asked for we got and more!

As for the hotel itself, the grounds, common areas, and rooms are well maintained. Both pools were available during our stay and were clean and well kept. The morning breakfast had the usual Hampton Inn fare, and the ladies working the breakfast area kept up with a pretty busy crowd. Overflow seating was available in the meeting room on the mornings the regular dining area was crowded, which was very nice. Ice water was available in the lobby throughout the day (you really needed it!) and cookies were hot and ready on Thursday afternoon.

The rooms were clean and well kept. There is a good sized bathroom, good air conditioning system, a small table, flat-screen TV, and a refrigerator and microwave. My only grumble would have to be about the closet situation. There isn't a regular closet in the room; there is an armoir. It isn't a huge problem, but it was just sort of odd and threw me when I walked in the room. There is lots of storage space on shelves below the sink in the bathroom, and there is a sort of bench to put your suitcases on in the room. A good selection of channels on the TV including Nickelodeon kept all of us happy.

The hotel is conveniently located in St. George and is close to everything and made a good home-base for exploring the nearby National Parks. The rooms were quiet and there wasn't any outside noise that I noticed at night time. Ice was handy and there was lots of variety in the vending machines downstairs. Free wi-fi was available and was very convenient all throughout the hotel.

All in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone whether you are staying for one night or several. It was a great value!

Clean, and well maintained...
The breakfast is very well displayed and there are plenty of options for all. The staff was courteous and very knowledgeable. The location is great and accessible to the main part of Saint George, along with easy access to Interstate 15. The indoor pool is a good size for kids, while the outdoor pool is perfect for the adult looking to just relax and unwind.

My family and I have stayed at this hotel upwards of ten times and have never had anything less than a wonderful experience. The staff is great. The rooms are clean. The beds are very comfortable with up to date linens. Flat screen TVs in every room. Indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzis. The best part in my opinion is the great breakfast they have with everything from waffles and eggs. to doughnuts, cereal, and fresh fruit. For the price this is the best place in town and I don't see our family going anywhere else in St. George. A great stay.
