We had a great time! I loved that I could just walk to the Factory Stores to shop. And the owner gave us a gift card to Brick Oven right next door! The staff was very courteous and made us feel very welcome. I appreciated the great directions the front desk gave us and how friendly the atmosphere was.

After days of driving through the Las Vegas and Grand Canyon areas, we truly enjoyed our stay at this Ramada. Jumped right in to the beautiful pool. Staff was very friendly morning & night, giving us great information on the area. We especially enjoyed the breakfast in the dining area. Many shops nearby. Nicely decorated & very clean, would definitely stay here again!

At the time of this writing, the Ramada St. George was rated #23 best out of 43 rooms. We got the room through an online hotel room discounter. Many hotels in St. George were busy due to a convention.

My family and I usually stay in hotel rooms that are rated Top 10 on Trip Advisor for the city we plan to visit, which includes Hilton, Wyndham or Marriott chains. When we reserved this room with an online hotel room discounter, that site stated that 90% of their guests were happy with the hotel. However, I was concerned because Trip Advisor raters gave it a low rating.

The hotel is very basic. The pictures of room interiors on Trip Advisor and on the Ramada St. George website of the décor is current. The hotel has outdated 80s furniture and bedding in the rooms, but the small lobby is updated. . The exterior of the hotel is nicer than in advertisement photos.

We were assigned Room #269 with two queen beds. There is no Fitness Room at the hotel, and it took me 5 minutes to access the Internet after contacting Tech Support for Air2Data. Wireless strength is “Very Good” instead of “Excellent.” A small piece of paper with a username and password will be issued to those interested in wireless internet access (you have to ask for it) but I ended up not even needing that info.

We noted that our bed sheets did not look nor smell clean and asked for new sheets rather than switching rooms.

The layout of the hotel is awkward as all the parking is on one side and guests on the north wing have a longer walk to access parking on the south side of the hotel. Hotel has three floors and approximately 150 rooms. There is only one ice machine for the entire hotel located on the first floor near the swimming pool. A sign is posted that requests that ice chests not be filled with ice from the machine but instead to go to the convenience store next door for a bag of ice. There is a small vending machine with about four soda choices next to the ice machine – quarters only. The front desk sells chips, postcards, and other snacks. Our room had two Queen beds, and there was a small coffee maker in the bathroom that dispenses coffee by the cup and a hair dryer. However, there is no refrigerator or microwave.

Hotel is conveniently located to shopping and many restaurants off of Exit #8. Nearby restaurants include Chili’s, Red Lobster, Brick Oven, Golden Corral, and Chuck-A-Rama just to name a few. There are also a variety of shops and gas stations very close by.

With regard to the complimentary continental breakfast, it is available from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. I arrived at 6:30 a.m. and noted ample supplies (forks, knives, spoons, napkins, small plates, bowls). Trays are available for use as well. Continental breakfast items include whole bananas, oranges, and apples, yogurt, donuts, bagels, toast, Danish pastries, oatmeal packets, waffle sticks, regular and decaf coffees, juice (orange, apple, and peach), and water. There is a microwave available to heat food. Coffee bar had regular and two flavored creamers along with sugar, Sweet and Low, and Splenda. Black tea is the option for hot tea. I felt the dining room was neat with a beautiful view of the swimming pool area and mountain. The breakfast is excellent and a good option for those needing something light before starting their day.

However, I probably would not stay at this hotel again. I believe there are nicer, newer hotels with more amenities at the same price or slightly higher rates. The hotel would feel more comfortable with a remodel and more attention to cleaning.

We traveled to St, George to take a hot air balloon ride and only stayed here one night. It was an okay room for the very reasonable price. The staff was nice and the room was clean. The hotel cheerfully agreed to keep our bags for the day while we went ballooning. It was quiet and the beds were comfortable enough.

We just returned from our stay at the Ramada Inn. This has to be one of the most unaccomodating hotels for children that I have ever stayed in. They don't have fridges or microwaves in the room and when you have a baby that's a huge inconvience but we knew that before staying there and we made it work. The front desk was nice and let us keep milk in their fridge. If you have a child that needs a highchair don't plan on using one here. They don't have them. When I asked, I was told no but one of the ladies working there and she then rolled her eyes and walked off. Maybe if she is tired of people asking for highchairs, she should tell her boss to order some.
The rooms were okay. Kind of dated but clean. Both beds in our room seemed to have trouble staying on the box spring. They were constantly sliding off. Two of the lamps in our room didn't work when we checked in but were taken care of. The front desk staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast was very bland and very basic for a continental breakfast. They two ladies were not good and keeping anything full. People had to keep going and asking for things. They just sat in the prep room and talked. I travel a lot and this was by far the worst breakfast at a hotel that I've had.
I have stayed at several of the hotels/motels in St. George and this was probably about one of the worst experiences that I've had there. There are much nicer places to stay in St. George and perhaps their employees don't roll their when asked a question.

This hotel was well furnished (all furnishings looked new) and had a very comfy king-size bed. Good TV with about 100 channels and room well sound-proofed. The pool was large and warm during the day as the temperature was around 80 degrees. The hot tub was really large. However, the staff were unfriendly and one seemed either really dopey or she'd been smoking something! Breakfast was good - cereal, fruit, yoghurts, bread and bagels, pastries and eggs or bacon or sausage.Apart from one day when the bread for toast ran out by 8am. Breakfast was 6.30 - 9.30. The outlet malls that this hotel is near are poor. There's only a handful of them. Also, town wasn't very far, less than a mile away and the shops/restaurants started less than half mile away. However, you couldn't walk as there was a very busy road to go alongside with no pavement. Therefore, if you get about by car, it's absolutely fine. You can walk to plenty of fast food places in the mall and there was a good mexican restaurant with a licence thankfully! It's called Chili's.

Typical modern hotel with no soul. The deluxe breakfast was appalling and depressing. Just a counter with plastic cups, cutlery and paper plates where you could help yourself to drinks and toast your own bread. One nice surprise was finding that we were next door to the Outlet Centre - something that we took advantage of! It is also next to a 'Chuckarama' - something worth experiencing once if you are new to the USA.

We are constantly improving our breakfast and offer two hot items each day along with fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, pastries, toast, coffee and juice.
