Ramada St George

I have had the good fortune to stay at the Ramada Inn in St. George at a minimum of twice a year for the past 20 years. out of that time, I have had one problem with a room, and when I called the front desk, it was literally minutes before someone was at my door to make the repair.
I have stayed there and will continue to stay there when I am in Saint George. The staff is extremely accommodating, friendly, and courteous. This goes from the General Manager to the front desk staff, to the fantastic cleaning staff. I have worked in the hotel industry and know what it takes to not only achieve their excellant service, but to maintain it for this long. It takes some serious resolve and committment. My hat is off to Ramada Inn, in Saint George, and would reccommend this Hotel to anyone and everyone.

Room Tip: My favorite is Second floor overlooking the pool. Less noise all around and easy to access from eith...

We stayed here for 1 night when we where passing through to Las Vegas.
Room was excellent, very clean. Very good beds, something that is a must for us.

Location was good, shops and restaurants where very close.
Pool looked great but it was very busy with a high school football team in the property.
Same was the case for breakfast but staff did everything to keep up with the demand.

Great value for a 1 night stay.

Stayed here for 1 night while passing through St. George for business/pleasure. The hotel was very clean and had a personable & friendly staff.
King rooms had a mini fridge & microwave which was nice. Bed very comfortable. didn't care to drink out of disposable paper cups (rather than glass) which were supplied in the room, but wasn't that big of a deal. Room rather dark even with lights on.
Nice pool area. They offer a free cont'l. breakfast which also had a couple hot items, fruit, cereal etc. which was a pleasant surprise.
Entire property very clean!
Location is great, adjacent to factory stores and within walking distance to numerous restaurants.
Only real complaint is our room was right next door to the area where they served breakfast (room 102) which ended up being rather noisy at an early hour, so I would request a room away from this. Would definately stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from where breakfast is servied if you want to sleep in.

We booked and prepaid a kind size bed room for 1 night with pool view 4 months in advance and when we arrived they gave us a room with view over a ... WALL ... yes really! The room was stinky and dark .. even if you open the curtains you need to turn on the lights because it's dark even if outside is sunny .. this because of the wall just next to this side of the building. We went to the front desk to ask to change the room and a girl said the hotel was full booked. She acted like she was bored to help us so I wonder if the hotel was actually full. We told her we booked this room 4 months in advance with pool view, she didn't even answer but went in the back of the front desk and came back 5 minutes later asking if we needed some help just like she was seeing us for the first time. I forgot to say when we checked in and another guy asked for my credit card and he forgot to give it me back. We were tired because of the long trip so we forgot to ask back our credit card , and when 10 minutes later we went down to the front desk to ask to change our room I noticed that my credit card was still there on the desk .. I'm lucky none had stole it.

Anyway we had to sleep in that stinky dark room with wall view ... the air conditioning didn't work and even with the window open it wasn't possible to have some air from the outside because there was that wall ! Won't stay here anymore. The staff is not professional and very unfriendly!

I was hesitant to stay at a Ramada based on past experience in Ramada properties on the east coast. I was pleasantly surprised by the property in St. George, UT and enjoyed a comfortable stay despite the hotel being busy with softball tournament guests. The room was exceptionally clean and even smelled good. The staff was extremely helpful and personable. I especially appreciated that we were allowed to park our motorcycles under cover near the front entrance. Well Done!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces the pool

On the way from Vegas or Zion and Bryce parks, this stop over is very good. Nice pool and jacuzi, clean rooms. Excellent service. Close to main city shopping. Big breakfast.

The location is perfect as it is just off the freeway. There's the Zion Outlets to its right and some restaurants plus a Gap Factory store to its left. It's a short drive to the Dinosaur Museum at Johnson Farm and also near the historic town which is just straight down the road to the other side. There's ample parking space, too, and we saw a truck with a boat parked in the lot, so you won't have a hard time parking if you brought a moving truck or a car carrier.

The rooms are standard and very comfortable. There's a fridge and microwave in the room. There's free internet and free breakfast with waffles, sausage and eggs, cereals, yoghurt, danish, toast, coffee, juices, fruits. It's a good value for what we paid for.

As for other amenities, there was a small clean pool and there was also a hot tub. It was open until 1030 and we were able to use it for 30minutes before it closed.

I have no complaints. I could here children running in the upstairs hallway, but it was nothing major.

The staff are awesome, from the reception, to the breakfast crew, to random staff walking the hallways. Actually, everyone in St George is awesome! Super great place and good choice for a stop over to Zion or Bryce Canyon. Would go back and stay here again if we ever go to Utah.

Thank you for a great review! We greatly appreciate your feedback and story. You're right...St. George is an awesome place, with awesome people, and we're happy to be a part of the community here. We're glad you had a chance to enjoy our courtyard pool and hot tub, and found our complimentary breakfast to be satisfying. Just to clarify, to avoid future confusion, we do have fridges and microwaves in most of our rooms, such as yours, but there is a section of our hotel that will have them in the future. We're constantly looking at ways to improve our facilities and amenities to make every guest's stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Thank you again. We hope to see you the next time you're in St. George!
