We had a king extended room # 105 on ground floor. Large room with desk Internet signal very weak at best in the room and my iPhone wouldn't get AT&T unless I went outside. Breakfast was very skimpy boiled egg, sausage patty. Crummy cereals. Why not something else that's healthier like oatmeal or a cooked omelet? Waffles weren't good. Hotel's landscaping was very nice. Pool & hot tub nice. Location was 10-15 min drive to anything. Front desk staff a bit testy. Asked for a map or directions. Got a frown.

We stayed here during the St. George Marathon in October of 2009. It was a very nice stay. This was my first stay at a La Quinta and it was very nice. The room was very modern and spacious. The breakfast in the morning was very tasty and well stocked. The dining area was small and got crowded quickly so it was hard to get a table, but there was plenty of food at all times. There were plenty of children running around and enjoying the pool, but noise wasn't a problem. It was a comfortable place to stay.

The room we stayed in was fairly large and very clean, with earth tone decor and good lighting. There were two comfortable chairs. We appreciated having a large mini-fridge with freezer and a microwave. There was also a flatscreen TV. The bathroom had plenty of counter space, an excellent showerhead, and good ventilation. On the downside, the bed was a bit too firm and the pillows were mushy. Also, the location is not convenient to restaurants. La Quinta provides hot items at their breakfast, but the scrambled eggs were absolutely horrible. We experienced this problem at another La Quinta, so we assume that the eggs are either freeze-dried or made from some disgusting packaged mix. The sausage was decent and the biscuits and gravy were o.k., though the gravy congealed quickly. Our room was quiet despite the fact that the motel is just off the interstate.

La Quinta Inn is near the freeway but we always ask for a ground floor room on the east side. We never hear a thing. The rooms are clean and roomy. The breakfast is good. They have a courtyard on the eastside that you can sit at tables and relax. The best part is that they are pet friendly and pets stay for FREE. There is a wonderful walking/biking path close to the hotel so you can walk your dog for miles if you want. I wish the pool was on the east side but it is still nice even with traffic noise. We've been there before and will go there again.
