“Nasty & Noisy”

We called from the road to book a room. The individual who ;answered was blunt and cold....not helpful. Upon checking into the facility, front desk person was likewise very cold and matter of fact. Not appreciative of our business. Once in the room and ready for a shower after a long day, the shower curtain was DISCUSTING!!!! it was BLACK WITH MOLD AND NASTY ! After shower I called the front desk to ask for a new shower curtainl. They did respond in a timely manor but I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO ASK FOR A CLEAN SHOWER CURTAIN ! It makes me wonder what else I have to worry about.
As I write this note it sounds like a herd of elephants above us. Hopefully they are on the same time frame as we. I have called Best Western to file a complaint as this facility does not match their standard of quality.
Do NOT stay here...it's the dumps!
Best Western facilities are our first choice when we do road trips...Hopefully this will be our only nasty experience.

We had booked this hotel as an overnight stop on our way from Vegas to Moab. We had requested a first floor room through the booking agent because of my husband's cardiac history but the request was not processed and we were scheduled for a room on the second floor. The desk clerk (whom I believe is the owner), was very helpful, and gave us a vacant triple queen room on the first floor, at no extra charge. He was most gracious about the switch. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a restful night. The Inn is easy to access from the highway and there are restaurants close by. The continental breakfast is just right for starting your day and then getting on your way. It is a great value.

After a nearly four week road trip across I-70 from one end to the other, this was the last stop before reaching the end... and what an excellent find it was. The place is very easy to get in/out of. No steps, curbs, or silly planters blocking prime access to the parking lot.

It's very evident this is a family run hotel, and they care about their product. The exterior appearance is outstanding, well kept and clean. When I arrived, I discovered the room had apparently been smoked in by a prior guest, (the entire hotel is non-smoking), and asked about an air freshener, and they checked it out and then just exchanged the room instead, and even offered to help move my stuff.

Other than that, I really can't really complain about anything. I'll definitely aim for the Richfield Inn again as an overnight stop when doing this type of road trip again.

Drawbacks might be arriving late, the Flying J across the street didn't have much to offer in the form of hot food, and the other Richfield exit didn't have much more. Wendy's drive-through is open until 1AM, however the late night came with typical lax service and quality.

IE, arrive early enough for more choices.

We just had to stop after driving from the Grand Canyon and simply picked Richfield on the map. We were happy to see Holiday Inn Express, BW and others. We had no reservation and went in at 9 p.m., got a great room at a reduced rate, and still had an hour for our boys to swim in the indoor pool. AC in the room was very nice, but the halls are really hot. Continental bfast was good -- lots of choices, including some yummy fresh donuts.

This is a great little hotel. It's run by a very nice Indian family. The breakfast is good, the pool is nice, the rooms are large and very clean. I've stayed in the Hampton Inn and several others, this is the best for value and comfort.

After a mix-up with our reservation, we were placed in a room that had a bad smell to it (musty) and lingering tell-tale smoke. Front desk was extremely rude and after observing how they operate, I had a better understanding of why my reservation was not correct...front desk always on their cell phones and did not operate in a professional manner. Breakfast was so-so. After having this experience at this location, I will not stay at this facility again.
