I like Shoots more than the rest of my family, but that's mostly because I love a good sit-down Chinese meal even when it's a little disappointing (and partly because I love their tapioca-ball drinks!). The weakness of Shoots is that it's a bit uneven--sometimes everything is great; other times your entre isn't as good as what you'd get at Panda. But even when it's a bit disappointing, it's expensive--and that's enough to earn a "thumbs-down" from my wife. And she's probably right in this case. Ambiance and service are great, but the food is a (relatively) expensive gamble.
