Very pretty setting in a small town. Peaceful and quiet, which is just what my husband and I needed. We stayed in the Cape Cod room and we loved it, especially the 2-person jetted tub! We had a great breakfast. Everything was perfect and the staff was friendly and very helpful. We will certainly be back!

We were looking for a place to escape from the kids and reconnect with one another. The Providence Inn was a great choice. We stayed in the Grand Canyon Suite (which was located in another building behind the Inn). The suite was roomy with a nice kitchenette, a living room with a gas fireplace, an enormous bathroom, giant jetted bathtub, a bedroom with a very comfortable King bed, and a large porch with chairs to relax in. Everything in our suite was clean and well cared for and had obviously been decorated recently. The area and the Inn were quiet and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. We loved the chocolate chip cookies that we sampled every time we went to the front office and the popcorn delivered to our room when we watched movies. The breakfasts were good, but nothing special. The only complaints were 1) The entry into the suite stunk (possibly like mold) and we had to hold our breath while we traversed the entry area until we were in our suite; and 2) The unit was not kept clean during our stay and it really needed a good dusting and vacuuming daily in addition to the clean towels and bed being made. All in all, it was a pleasant retreat and we'd consider going back there in the future to try some of the other suites. You might want to note that there are no restaurants within walking distance -- in fact, it was often a 15-minute drive to get to dinner. Also, make sure to take some walking shoes, the neighborhood is a great place to stroll where everyone still waves, even to strangers.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night in June 2006. This property is an old church that was converted to a B&B. The congregation area and alter have been converted into a banquet room which is used for weddings, special gatherings, etc.

We stayed in the Grand Canyon Suite, which is one side of a duplex, and detatched from the main house. The suite is clean, spacious, and very quiet, and has a relaxing 2 person Jacuzzi tub. What is nice about the duplex is the suites don't butt up to each other, there is a large entry area separating them so each side has their privacy. There is plenty of parking in the private lot behind the B&B.

We did peek into the vacant rooms in the main house and they are nice, however, they are on the small side.

Breakfast was average - pancakes and sausage. Ask that your coffee be served in a mug!
