This is not authentic, but who cares?? it's delicious, and inexpensive. We love the 'pink sauce' and eat it on everything. its great with a bean burrito (which are made from fat free beans, homemade from scratch). The fries are delicious if they are fresh & hot. They are thinner than the fast food chain varieties.
The fresh strawberry or peach shakes are wonderfully delicious (these are seasonal).
Portions are adequate. I also like the nachos and mexi salad. (taco salad without the shell) . The bandido is also delicious (tostada)

We have been to more authentic Mexican food restaurants, but for the price you would be hard pressed to find a better dining experience. We were on our way to the movie and needed to eat ahead of time. We dropped in on a whim (first time eating here) and were blown away by what you got for the money. We will definitely be back. The only problem was that the word is apparently out ... they were very busy. But we were still served very quickly. Well done!

We like coming here for a quick decent meal. The service is quick and the food good. It is a pleasant grove staple.

This badly needed renovation has turned out beautifully. More efficient patron traffic flow, more room inside, and excellent drive thru. It's still not recommended that approach the restaurant from the north because trying to left-turn into the parking lot crossing State Street at that point is rough due to high traffic. Best to approach from the south and turn east into the lot. The famous home-grown peach shakes are still the best ever (only in season). Prices are relatively low, portions adequate, Burgers and fries also available, which is unusual for a "taco-place". Fastest service to be found anywhere. Great staff. Clean environment. Variety of hot sauces. Recommended!
