Our family of four loved the Summitt Watch, and the surrounding areas of Park City. The double-unit was perhaps the most complete rental we've experienced. The master bed/bath was amazing, and the spacious living areas gave everyone ample space. The unit's washer/dryer was very convenient. We returned in July and unfortunately were not able to get reservations at the Summitt Watch, but will always look for their availability.

We stayed there for for a week on a timeshare exchange. The room was the largest and nicest I have ever stayed in (we had a two-bedroom). Just be warned that shops and restaurants nearby are EXPENSIVE. The shop in the lobby sold cereal for $7 a box, and a plastic comb cost $2.50. We enjoyed the walking trail, public park, free bus shuttles, and the indoor/outdoor pool- we swam every day. We also really liked walking through the art gallaries and shops. The view is beautiful. In ski season, this would be an awsome place to stay- the lift is literally across the street.

Our family spent a week in mid-July at the Marriott Summit Watch. This hotel's location in Park City is probably its best attribute. It sits right on the main street which provides easy access to all of the local shops and restaurants. A free Park City trolley (the drivers we encountered were always fun and friendly) runs fairly continuously up and down the main avenue, which came in handy when our small children were getting tired. The hotel is also nicely situated to the town chairlift which is literally steps away across a small bridge. Several restaurants are available within the Summit Watch complex itself, including a Japanese restaurant (Mikado) which we didn't try, and a Mexican restaurant (La Casita) which was pretty good. There is nowhere at the Marriott to go for breakfast (I suppose most people eat in their rooms since this is primarily a timeshare facility) although just across the bridge (toward the chairlift) there was a surf-themed restaurant that was nearby. The hotel does not offer in-room high-speed internet access, which was disappointing in this day and age. Wireless access could be purchased for $20/stay and accessed only in the the main lobby, however the setup there is not conducive to that activity, and I found myself (along with others) trying to utilize a lounge space (with limited electrical connections) in configurations that resembled a modern hi-tech version of the old game of "Twister". Computers are available and you can purchase time from the front desk, but as they lacked even the most basic programs (i.e., no Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) I could not print a couple of documents that I needed. The guestrooms were average at best: reasonably comfortable beds, tiny televisions, remote controls never worked, vcr's weren't hooked up (engineering intervened in a timely fashion), a/c worked in the parlor but not in the bedroom. A moldy, musty smell permeated the hallways. Elevator (singular to a building) was extremely slow. The pool area was at the far end of the complex (from our building). I suspect it wasn't heated during the summer as the water was very cold. The pool recreation area was a bit old and dated. There were some afternoon activities available (tye-dye'd t-shirts, etc.) but everything costs extra. All in all, I expected more from a Marriott-branded summer resort. As nice as the hotel's location within Park City was, I would choose a different hotel the next time.
