“Great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2011

We stayed overnight here on our way to the salt lake city airport from Jackson, WY. The summer rates were reasonable and the condo was clean and roomy. The location is right on main street in park city which is ideal for shopping, food, and skiing in the winter.

The pool opened at 8 which allowed our kids to get a swim in before the flight home. Although we were just passing through, I saw that they had a lineup of activities for the day scheduled. It was a very nice place to stay in park city.

This was our second trip back to the Summit Watch - first time was 2003. Though starting to show some signs of age, it is still a lovely facility, spotlessly clean and with super comfortable beds. We would highly recommend Marriott Summit Watch. We always count on Marriott for a good night's sleep and very clean facilities.

Room Tip: Higher floor-facing Deer Valley Dr - creekside

We only had two days in Park City so location was essential. Marriott Summit Watch was perfect. Right on Main Street with all the restaurants and our room was a 2 minute walk to the Town Lift. You would only use the lift once a day as it was long and slow but served it's purpose on getting you on the mountain. We briefly went in to the resort centre and were glad we didn't stay there. We had a guest bedroom in the Alpine Building. It was very large with a big double bed, a sofa (I assume a sofa bed) and a kitchenette with fridge/freezer and microwave. Only dissapointment was the lack of kettle, although it did have a coffee maker. Outdoor hot tubs were fab. I would 100% recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed ourselves very much, great hotel, wonderful and helpful staff. We were in a condo facing the mountain, woke up to 8 inches of snow and 11 degree weather! BURR!! Would recommend for anyone, you are able to walk to lots of shops and restaurants. The whiskey distillery is very interesting and worth the money for the tour and tasting! Olympic village is a must to see! So touching! The outlet mall in Park City is worth the trip also! We were there for a week and would love to return someday soon!

We have stayed several times, at different times of the year at the Summit Watch. We just love it. The one bedroom suites are large, with full kitchens, and the beds are very comfy. The whole place is clean, and the location is perfect for just walking out to Main Street.

We prefer to stay during off season, which means no snow so the hotels drop their rates. The restaurants in the area take some time off in May, about two weeks I believe, so there isn't a lot open but the business owners are trying to change that and attract customers year round.

Nearby is Kimball Junction, where everything is open year round, so, if we can't find something open in Old Town, we just drive over there.

If you're looking for a romantic and quiet getaway in a beautiful setting, close to shopping, and restaurants, this is the place. We especially like heading out on the brisk spring or fall mornings to the top of Main Street to the Morning Star Cafe for breakfast.

As other reviews stated, you really cannot beat this location. If you want access to great restaurants, bars, shops, and the main bus station (with easy access to Deer Valley), this is your place. Oh, did I forget the skiing- Town Lift to the Park City Mountain Resort is about a block away.

I think the hotel itself was better than average as well. The hot tub area was nice, and if you have kids, the activity room seemed very convenient. My only qualm (and it is small) is the housekeeping- since it is considered a time share, although we booked it through a hotel website, not through a property owner, they do not do a thorough cleaning daily- rather, it is more of a tideying up. Overall that is fine, but I had to request a cleaning of the tub which I feel should have been automatic, and would have liked the linens changed. Speaking of the linens, the bed was extremely comfortable. Also convenient was the little kitchenette.

We had a great stay and would definately stay here again. A few recommendations- you can rent equipment right downstairs at Destination Ski Shop- tell them you are staying at Summit Watch and they will give you 20% off. We found the concierage helpful as well. A few restaurant recommendations- Easy Street Brasserie right next door, Wahso, Jean Louis and River Horse. Also, the coffee shop right in front of the summit watch on main (I think called Atticus) is very good!

Overall a great stay and we will hopefully stay here again for our 2012 trip!

My husband and I spent a week here and marveled at the great location and service of this hotel. With the Town Lift across the street, our ski vacation was just about perfect. The 1 bedroom villa was huge and very comfortable. We really liked the separate sink/dressing area, jacuzzi tub and huge walk-in shower. The concierge was extremely helpful with restaurant reservations and other suggestions. The hot tub/heated pool was never crowded. One tip: if you will visit the pool/hot tub frequently ask for a room in the adjacent building. The only thing we wished for was complimentary robes. There is also no onsite restaurant.
