We were in town for one night and wandered in early as we heard about their happy hour prices. We sat at the bar and tried a couple of things - all of which were good. The bartender was friendly and fun to chat with. We then ordered the Volcano roll - wow!! spicy and terrific! Freddy, the sushi chef, came over to explain the creation of the roll and how the flavors combined to make it truly unique. He then suggested a couple of more items that we might like - and all were truly amazing. We left (as these were our appetizers) and went to explore the town before we were to meet up with a friend later for dinner. We then realized that we really couldn't imagine eating anywhere else - so back to Shabu the three of us went. We again sat at the bar where we not only ate some truly remarkable food, but completely enjoyed the company of the sushi chef (Freddy), the bartender (Jeff) and eventually met the owner as well. Not only a meal that will be remembered, but a fun night spent with nice people. Thank you Shabu!! We will try to return one day soon!!
