When I opened the door I was so impressed with the size - a cozy rustic living room, big dining room table, a full kitchen stocked with all utensils, 2 big rooms and 2 bathrooms - one with jaccuzi jets. There are 2 flat screen TVs - one in one of the bedrooms and the other in the living room. Space is important for us because my 10 year old daughter and 9 year old son bicker about everything and it's terrible when they are couped up together. There was enough room here for us all to have our space.

The view of the mountains was incredible. And the location is perfect! It's right at the foot of the mountain. The staff was super friendly and the hot tub was HOT! I'm trying hard to write a balanced review but finding it difficult to find negatives. There is no central air (there's a window unit, ceiling fans in the bedrooms, and 2 portable fans in the unit) - but this was not a problem for us - even at the end of August when it was pretty hot outside.

I would definitely recommend the Sweetwater Lift Lodge. I would also recommend Park City to anyone who loves the outdoors. I had never been here before and was amazed by the natural beauty.

Had a great stay, the property is a little old but the charm is off the hook. Right next to the PArk City ski area and historic downtown. The Ritz-Carlton it is not, but you will love this little gem.

A. Mr. Tillie and staff are among some of the kindest, happy, helpful and professional I have encountered in a long time. They go out of their way to help and bring your trip to the best. Regardless what we asked or needed they were able to fullfill. Mr. Tillie was charming and very helpful.
B. We rode (3) motorcycles in and were allowed to park in the garage which is the BEST plus for riders. Garage parking is very limited.
C. Rooms: Three couples stayed in the 2 bedroom and 2 bath unit on floor 2 and was very nice and quiet. We faced out on the street and found no noise to keep us awake. Kitchen was stocked and requested a crock pot which we were able to get and needed extra fan for bedroom (only one a/c unit in the spare bedroom and with door closed at night it did make sleeping for the couple in livingroom not as pleasant but they too were given a fan). There is fireplace (no need for us in summer but nice), couch and chair. We were able to use dining room chairs as extras for sitting and found tv great. We could not find any complaints. I requested extra blow dryer and that too was given during our stay. We walked the stairs while there for the exercise but elevator was available. They have ironing board, iron, extra folding chairs in kitchen closet and hair dryer in main bathroom.
D. Grilling was great for the guys and brought food back to room. They have two gas grills with plenty of tables and chairs if you wish to remain down by the grills.
E. Pool area appeared nice and easy access from our 2 floor, did not use.
F. LOCATION is great. We walked up town several times. Took the ski lift up but was not the 1 1/2 hour trip we were told. Depends on the amount of stops coming and going we found out later. Worth the money though and gave beautiful view of Park City. ALL people in area were VERY KIND, found no one unpleasant. We had great time at the Park Silly Sunday Market. Think "Fresh Market" was very easy access and prices good.
G. Motorcycle rides were great and so scenic. Rode to Big Mountain, Salt Lake City and out to Antelope Island, Mirror Lake, etc. Wish we had more time to ride but gave it our best shot to see as much as possible. Rode to Olympic park and guys rode the zip line, etc. interesting set up for viewers to watch people train.
H. Ate at O'Shucks and had great burgers and BLT's. Rich was very friendly and joked around with us. Super experience and sat outside near sidewalk. Ate most of our meals at the condo.
I. Computer area available from 8AM to 10PM and always had coffee, etc. available during this time. You could print off information which we found very helpful.
J. Overall....you can not go wrong with this lodge. They are so kind and will try if not meet all your request. Among the best service.

First and foremost, the location is terrific. You are right next to the Park City Resort and the free buses that run through town. You pretty much can't beat the location.

Now on to the unit. I reserved a 2 bedroom for 8 people. We got there and received a unit with underground parking which was good, but the unit itself was a bit claustrophobic with a very small kitchen and a small place to sit. Additionally, due to the number of stairs, it was difficult for one of the older folks in our party. The staff was very helpful in relocating us. We got another unit which had bigger common area space but no underground parking. We had to park on the street which wasn't a huge deal except for shoveling out the snow.

There are essentially two bedrooms and an upstairs loft. One of the downstairs bedrooms has two sets of bunk beds. Therefore, these units are ideal if there are a lot of people. The beds are pretty comfortable so no complaints there.

The best way to describe this place is rustic. If you're used to staying at the Marriott, then this isn't the place for you. I don't think it has air conditioning which doesn't matter when its cold. The heating is one of those baseboard type of deals which is impossible to figure out. There is a decent sized heated pool available to the guests and a hot tub. There are also barbecue grills. There is no washer/dryer in the units and probably not enough washers/dryers for all the people staying there so that's kind of a hassle.

Getting around is no problem. The free buses will take you almost anywhere you need to go, including the grocery store which is a short ride or a short walk depending on your mood. There is no shortage of food choices around the resort.

Overall, we enjoyed this unit tremendously. However, it would have been terrible had we been stuck in the first unit we were assigned. So I don't think I'd risk going there again. Keep in mind that we had 8 people though. If we were 5 or less, I wouldn't hesitate to reserve this place.

My boyfriend and I participate in a condo exchange (RCI) for three weeks of every year. There exchanges are always used for snowboarding vacations. We are a quite couple with no kids who like to ride the mountain all day, have an awesome dinner and then go to bed - pretty straightforward.

Sweetwater was by far the best condo exchange we have ever locked into. It's a short walk to a Park City chairlift and base area. The entire condo was redone with top-notch appliances, a completely stocked kitchen (I cooked meals most nights and never went without a needed pan or utensil), duvet covers (the kind that get washed every week), etc. The carpet was beautiful and there was a nice, HD widescreen television with DVD player near the fireplace.

The lodge had a great jacuzzi, pool and grill area. We didn't use it, but many people did. There weren't a ton of other amenities, but when you come to ride that doesn't really matter.

The downside for some people may be that it's a bit of a walk to downtown. There are free shuttles, but we did make the walk. It would certainly be too far for people with kids. Also, checking in late at night was an issue: we had to call a number and wait for some person to let us in. We knew this ahead of time, but it was a slight hassle after a long drive.

For people like us who care about cleanliness and quality of accommodations, this was the perfect place! I'd highly recommend it to people with similar lifestyles.
