Owner description: Thrill seekers, meet your match on Utah's largest Alpine Coaster. The elevated track winds you through more than a mile of loops, curves and hair-pin curves at speeds up to 30 mph. Just like your favorite roller coaster - but with the refreshing mountain scenery of Park City.

I've rode the Alpine Slide many times over the years but this was my first time riding the Alpine Coaster and it was so much fun!

The kids really enjoyed it, scared at first. So scared that one of them went down slower than I would have liked her to go. At the time, it was very sunny waiting for them to come down the ride. Would be great if there are more shady spots and seats for those waiting.

Cool fun! Line was a little long, but fun! Highly recommend getting a double or triple pass for better value! (Add Alpine Slide and Zipline if doing all) We liked Alpine Slide the best! (It is the cheapest too!)

In today's world of amusement park "extreme" coasters, I actually liked this change of pace and so did my teenage boys (but they weren't paying..). It is a beautiful setting and the coaster basically works off gravity. There is a several minute ride up as you are towed up in your sled. Each sled holds up to two people and they are not connected. Once at the top, you then zip back down with a series of spirals, gaining speed along the way. While I am sure you don't approach nearly the speed of a steel coaster, it is still a cool sensation because you are in this individual sled and don't have the big harnesses of the big coaster, so the urge to hold on for dear life gives a rush. There are many twists and turns with few and minor dips and climbs.

Agree with other reviewers that this is costly, but if you can spare the money, I say go for it! If you go in with expectations of an amusement park-like plunge and loop upside down coaster, I suspect you will be rather disappointed, but if you want a unique ride in a unique setting, sit back, enjoy the climb and then hold on for the twists. Also - they have several other activities here including a bungy trampoline bounce, mini golf, ziplines, and an alpine slide (which is not on tracks, like the coaster is).
