“Definitely worth the effort...”
Reviewed March 18, 2014

Once arriving at the Canyons and its Westgate Resort, it takes a bit of effort to wind through the lobby, long hallways, and elevator to the 4th floor of the Elk Lodge to find the small Yoga Kula studio. Have faith, it's worth the effort. Not only is the staff warm and welcoming, as it should always be as a first-timer, it is a neat set-up in that you can use the locker room facilities of the Westgate Spa for changing and showering at no additional charge. Classes are small, which lends opportunity for lots of individual attention and posture adjustments. This is definitely worth checking out if your travels take you to Park City and hot yoga is your style of choice. Enjoy!

“An incredible studio with a great feel!”
Reviewed February 4, 2014

I really could go on and on about The Yoga Kula Project in Park City. But simply stated, this studio has the best energy, the best instructors and the owner, Trudee, has created a space in which people can practice without fear of needing to compete, can be their true selves without judgement, and can feel secure about getting the best instruction possible. This is what every yoga studio should be like. It's a wonderful experience, every time!

“Best Yoga Experience in Park City.....hands down.”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

My wife and I are Park City locals and the Yoga Kula Project is by far the best in town! We started practicing Bikram Yoga while living in Hawaii for 3 years and when we came back home to PC we were lucky enough to find Bikram at Yoga Kula...The facilities are top notch and the instructors are even better! Trudee, the owner has put together the perfect fit of Yoga philosophy, instructors, facility and location....one of the additional perks of taking a class at Yoga Kula is being able to use the Spa, and Pool/Hot Tub facilities of the Westgate Hotel (where the studio is located).....not bad to be able to participate in a wonderful Hot Yoga session on a Sat morning, then just steps away take a quick relaxing hot tub with the snow falling all around ...then walking to the slopes for a few hours of skiing at the Canyons Resort.....cant beat that! My only suggestion to make it even better than it is is to incorporate what our Bikram studio in Hawaii did....at the end of the Bikram class everyone loved receiving an ice cold, scented oshibori (Japanese wet hand towel) when class was over. As we're laying down in savasana, the instructor passed out oshiboris to everyone....ahhhhhh~ It was as refreshing as drinking an icy, cold beer after a long day of work, or like having shaved ice on a hot, summer day. The perfect end and reward after working hard and sweating your butt off. I will have to suggest that to Trudee on our next lesson....regardless....You will really enjoy visiting Yoga Kula.....

“Great Class”

Love the class and instructor. I have found the environment to be very welcoming and the instruction to be easy to follow as I am fairly new to yoga. Highly recommend.

“Hot Yoga!”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

I took the hot fusion class and loved it! It had heat but also a humidifier so it didn't feel stuffy. The teacher Trudee is so wonderful. Always encouraging with praise so there is no competition in the room. I felt elated afterwards especially since I was able to enjoy the facilities in the spa after the class. Love it and can't wait to go back again!!
