I love the Miners Club. Second trip and will be back.

Property is new and beautifull. Attention to detail in every regard. That includes the public amenities such as the Great Room, Theatre and Pool and to the units themselves.

The units are LARGE. The three bedroom we stayed in had vaulted cealings both upstairs and down. Besides the living room area it also has an upstairs seating area with a second sofabed and yet another TV (in addition to those the living room and all bedrooms). Fireplace in both living room and master bedroom. Several balconys. Only thing I will mention is that configuration does seem to vary -- all are very nice but had to switch units to get the twin beds we wanted.

Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Unlike prior reviews I did not have any problem getting the help I need. Did miss the resturant but hopefully another one will open up.

I have travelled both with and without the kids and recommend the Miners Club for both with and without kids. If you do have kids I can highly recommend the ski school at The Canyons.

I travel alot and have stayed at many hotels that I have not been satisfied with. Did not encounter any of those problems at the Miners Club. The Miners Club is top notch.

We exchanged into a 4-bedroom unit at The Miner's Club. The unit was very well appointed and we were impressed that there was a bathroom for every room and 2 whirlpool tubs.

The resort staff was very helpful. The concierges were helpful, but they aren't available after 5pm and were off on Sunday. I only had 2 complaints. Neither of the DVD players in the unit had a working remote control and the resort charges $8/day for parking and other incidentals.

There was a nice theatre as well as a fun center for the kids. There are plenty of activities within a short drive to keep the family busy at any time of the year.

This year, we stayed at the Miners Club for our annual ski trip to Utah. The suites at the Miners Club are beautiful (and include balconies with each bedroom), but we expected more in the way of amenities.

The Miners Club is a nice, new resort. However, it seems they are uncertain of their future. When we visited the resort in 2006, we were told much building would be done by March 2007. When we arrived in March 2007, nothing had progressed. In fact, the sushi restaurant that used to be located on the main floor had been closed, and no new restaurant opened. The additional pool had not yet been built, nor any new wings. The gondola to the Canyons had not yet begun construction. Perhaps the Miners Club is just slow to move forward, but at the prices they charge, we expected amenities to be plentiful. The bellhops were very friendly, but the concierge was rarely at the desk and the receptionists were less than helpful.

Part of our negativity with respect to the Miners Club also relates to its location near Park City. Park City is the essence of a tourist town: everything is overpriced and "cute." While Salt Lake City is not a pretty city, there are a number of restaurants and attractions that are worth your while. If you are coming to the area for a ski trip, you might as well stay in SLC and take a day trip or two to Park City. In most instances, the snow conditions will be better at resorts away from the Park City area as well.

I went here with a large group of girlfriends to have a night away from our kids and husbands. We stayed in a 3 bedroom, and there was plenty of room for all of us (but we had to use the sleeper-sofa upstairs). It was nice to have so much space for all of us and plenty of bathrooms. The beds and sofas were very comfortable. I had had knee surgery the week before our stay, and as we left a staff member volunteered to fill up my traveling ice pack with ice and water. To me, that's going the extra mile.

My only real complaint is that we were charged extra for the little ammenities they put in our room (little gift packs of toothpaste, gum, etc.) It seems to me theses things really should be included in the price, especially when you're paying so much.

Overall, this was a great place to stay for a girlfriend's retreat, and I would definately stay here again.

This is a great place to stay for family vacations. The theater room is awesome, you can reserve the room any night you want. They also have a awesome kids playroom with two large TV's. So you can watch tv and the kids can play. The pool was nice and warm and the hot tub was great. The rooms are big and spacious. The master bedroom and bath has everything you would want. The kitchen has all kinds of supplies and has granite countertops and wood floors. They put alot of time and money into the rooms. The staff was great and we just had a great time. The location is at the base of The Canyons ski resort. You would want a car to get around Park City because nothing is real close other than the ski resort. Movie Theatres and shopping would be a 5-10 minute drive. Downtown Park City is about 10 minutes away if that.

Just returned from a great stay at the beautiful Miner's Club in Park City. We had a spacious three bedroom condo with two bedrooms downstairs and a third bedroom off a loft sitting area upstairs. There were large screen TV's in the downstairs living area, the master bedroom, and the loft, and fireplaces in the living area and master bedroom. The master bath had a whirlpool tub (more on this in a minute), and humidifiers were provided for each room. The full kitchen was well-equiped with a double-door frig with in-the-door ice and water dispenser, a full range and a microwave as well as just about any kitchen tool or gadget you could ask for. Our family really enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. This was one of, if not the, nicest condos we have ever stayed in.

What makes me hesitant to say "the" nicest? A couple of minor irritants that would in no way stop us from returning to this beautiful complex, but which are worth a mention. Remember that whirlpool in the master bath? The more we filled it, the rustier the water appeared until it was the unappetizing color of thin chocolate milk! Even the bubbles we added turned to a brownish foam like a chocolate shake. And when we emptied the tub, we were left with rusty stains reminiscent of a scene from Psycho. You can imagine that our use of this amenity was quite limited!

Also the cabinets in the kitchen are quite high; even my 6'3'' hubby could only reach the bottom one or two, and I had to use the two-step ladder provided in the unit to reach anything--not a big deal, but tottering on the top step with a handful of breakable glasses or dishes did make me wonder who had come up with such an ill-conceived design.

Also the resort assesses an $8 daily fee in addition to their quoted prices; this pays for daily maid service (nice) and a list of other items (luggage storage, concierge service, etc.), none of which we used... And although their literature touted their free DVD library, there was actually a $3 charge for DVDs. Again, these charges were pretty minor and wouldn't prevent us from going back to what was overall a beautiful, comfortable and pleasurable resort; but they were just irritating little buzzes in an otherwise clearly above average stay...

We have stayed in this resort three times, and it has been amazing every time. It is very well appointed--full kitchen with stainless steel and granite, hardwood floors, slate floors, fireplaces and TV's in every room. Every amentity you can think of is in the condo to make it like home, including all the dishes and kitchen gadgets. There is a dining room that seats six, washer and dryer, jacuzzi bath in the master. We have stayed in the 2bdrm, 3bdrm, and 4bdrm condos. All are large and spacious.

There is a heated pool (in October it was warm enough to walk right into with no cold-shock) and a large hot tub outside. We never used the gym/spa.

The condo is very close to the Canyons ski resort, and a short ride away from Park City and Deer Valley resorts. There are also plenty of restaurants in Park City, only a few minutes away by car.

The staff on hand is a little sparce, but everyone is very happy to help.

My only complaint about this place was that the beds were EXTREMELY firm. I like my bed a bit softer than a cement slab, so that made sleeping less than comfortable. But if you like your beds firm, this is the place for you!
