“Get an early morning start and bring a lunch”
Reviewed March 13, 2014

This is a great hike, but it takes longer than you might expect, about 4 hours of hiking to do it right, so start early and bring a lunch.

“Red Pine Lake Hike”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

The hike to Red Pine Lake is beautiful and well worth the effort. My wife and I really enjoyed this hike. The lake is located in the Lone Peak Wilderness Area. Red Pine Canyon contains two beautiful alpine lakes, which are accessible to beginning hikers. If you are a more experienced hiker and would like a little more adventure you can continue on to the summit of Pfeifferhorn at 11,326'.
