Not sure why it is so darned hard to eat lunch in this town. Everything is closed mid afternoon. This bistro is near the PCMarriott in a strip mall. Lovely soups and sandwiches and a small bar was serving wine and beer, which is hard to find in PC during the day. Very friendly service. Full Italian menu with specials.

I went there last year and had pizza. That was very good. We decided this year on our first night in altitude to pack on carbs and eat some pasta dishes. This was probably the worst Italian food our family ever had. To their credit the pizza still look good!!

After a busy day in PC, we did not feel like going out for dinner. So, we called Fuego's for take out . They had several gourmet pizzas so it was hard to decide on one. We selected the DV.

This is a thin crust pizza prepared in a wood fired oven. The DV has a pesto sauce with feta and mozzarella cheeses, kalamata olives and artichoke hearts. The crust was nice and crispy; the combination of flavors was excellent.

A few days later we were looking for another quick meal. This time we got the Veg Head (mushrooms, tomatoes, eggplant, roasted red peppers and olives - no cheese). We ordered mozzarella cheese as an additional topping. This was also a very good pizza.

Next time we are in PC, we will definitely order from them again. They have so many interesting varieties it will take several more visits to try them all.

PS - Gluten free crust is available for an upcharge.

Went for lunch. The food was ok. I had a meatball sanwich with a side salad. The salad was a fistful of lettuce and nothing else. My husband had grilled chicken salad that was very good.
