I checked in Presidents Day weekend with one other family to share the townhome. The check-in process was fine but the problems started once we got into the unit. First off, there were numerous light bulbs not working throughout the townhome... became annoying to have several rooms that were dark. Next, the top bunk of the kids' bunk bed was missing some of the stabilizing bars below the mattress which would have resulted in our children injuring themselves if we didn't see it beforehand. However, the worst part of the trip was having NO HOT WATER when we wanted to shower at night. When it is 10-20 degrees outside and you've been skiing all day, the last thing you want to deal with is a lukewarm shower.
Unfortunately after speaking with customer service, Wyndham Vacation Rentals doesn't compensate for having NO HOT WATER so we just have to pay the full rental fee. I realize that maintenance issues happen but I would have expected a large company like Wyndham to do the right thing. I would not recommend this unit or more importantly renting from Wyndham again. Bad experience on what would otherwise be a wonderful trip to Deer Valley.
