My husband and I visited the Wasatch Brew Pub for the first time last week. Friends had recommended it and we were not disappointed.
The menu featured many unique items, some with rather unexpected ingredients. I chose a quinoa, black bean and edamame salad and a cup of the soup du jour, Beer and Cheese. Hubster got a Philly Cheesesteak (he's always on the hunt for the perfect one). When the salad arrived, DH said it looked like a fruitcake because it was place on the lettuce bed in a molded looking form, but it was delicious, especially with the champagne shallot vinaigrette. The soup was very flavorful and tasted homemade, even had a few onions in there.
The dining area was clean and inviting. The staff was getting the patio ready to open while we were there; probably another week or so till it gets warm enough. We were very pleasantly surprised by the prices especially considering the location, but we weren't complaining! The only complaint we did have - and it was minor - was that service was a little slow. We didn't try any of the beers, but maybe next time. And there will probably be one.
