“One of the Best Dining Experiences I've Had”
Reviewed January 4, 2011

If you love seafood, you must go to this restaurant. The buffet includes crab legs, shrimp, ahi tuna, oysters, mussels, and many other kinds of seafood, all incredibly fresh. Steak, ribs and duck are also available, as are a large variety of desserts. You pay one price and eat as much as you'd like!! The restaurant is cozy, spacious and unpretentious, with a fireplace, dim lighting and a lodge-like minimalist decor - very relaxing. The service is perfect as well. This is truly a dining experience not to miss!!!

“Five Star Buffet”
Reviewed January 3, 2011

This is the best of the best when it comes to buffets. It is positively 5 star dining, but in a buffet setting. We make it a point to eat the seafood buffet every time we come to Park City.

“Worth the splurge”
Reviewed March 1, 2010

The seafood buffet is definitely worth the splurge for seafood lovers. If you love king crab legs, dungeoness crab legs, and oysters on the half shell, then you'll definitely get your money's worth. I probably had $20 in oysters alone...and, unlike some buffets that are overly sparing in bringing out the more expensive items, there was always plenty such that I didn't have to feel bad about taking too many at one time. The buffet is probably also worth it for folks who enjoy a variety of foods and figure it's worth the coin to be able to satisfy all your cravings at the same time. Prime rib, duck, ribs, clams, mussels, sushi, and a plethora of other hot items. Service was also excellent. Plates cleared quickly, new utensils brought out, and drinks always full.

“Very good seafood, good selection”
Reviewed February 27, 2010

Yes, the price is somewhat high, but compared to upper-end brunch buffets it is average. All of the food was of very good quality and the service was the best I have ever had at a buffet. Surprisingly the bar is cheap ($5 for bacardi).
The sushi selection was good, spicy tuna tatare, california roll with real crab and no mayo to ruin it, tuna roll, eel roll and philli roll. The ophelia and dungenous crab was good. Our favorite was the seared tuna, crusted sea bass and a very good duck. Deserts were also numerous and good.

“great skiiers lunch!”
Reviewed February 12, 2010

Snow Park is a great lunch option if you are skiing in Deer Valley. All of the DV lodges offer the same generous variety of food, and it can be crowded, but runs efficiently. Lunch is set up in several stations-grill, soup, chili, salad buffet ($14/person), pasta, pizza, bakery, drinks, & sandwiches/chips). Service is quick & everything we tried during our two lunches (one at Snow Park & one at Empire Lodge), was very tasty! I had a huge delicious butternut squash, spinach, mushroom & black bean burrito (chicken, spinach & cheese was the other option), with a choice of sauce--I chose a tasty green tomatillo (there was a red chile option), fresh tasty pico de gallo, black beans, and salad greens topped with tomatoes for $10.50. My husband enjoyed his pot roast with two sides for $12. The second day he had two delicious fish tacos for $11-crispy, tasty, with a nice savory slaw & not soggy& a large chocolate cookie, while I enjoyed grilled salmon (about 8oz, nicely tender) with a chipotle sauce on a warm ciabatta bun with dressed greens on the side.
We did not get a chance to try the famous DV turkey chili...maybe next time, but I love having so many quick, healthy tasty options. It was easy to ski in & out, and we'll be back the next time we ski in DV!
