Start with a signature Chimayo Margarita, a local’s favorite. Don’t miss the dipping sauce that’s served with the fresh baked bread. Favorites include the Crown Roast of Barbecue Spareribs with a chipotle and caramelized pineapple glaze served with buttermilk whipped potatoes and Dos Equis beer-battered onion rings. The Mexican Chocolate Fondue for four served with a tureen of melted espresso-cinnamon chocolate with dipping favorites of cinnamon sugar churros, peanut butter cookies, Mexican wedding cookies, banana, pineapple, and seasonal berries is sure to finish this delectable experience with a warm cozy feeling.

“A Park City Must”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

We had a wonderful dinner last night at Chimayo. The ambiance of this dining room is absolutely gorgeous and so Southwestern. From the pleasant greeting from the hostess to our server Angie, one of the best, we felt very accommodated.
The menu you should look at on their web site. I had the goat cheese and mozzarella Chile Relleno as an appetizer. The taste was absolutely southwest. For the entree the Lamb Osso Bucco. Incredible. My wife had the Scallops. Plate presentation and food quality exceptional.
Incredible wine selection and speciality margaritas and tequilas.
The Chef is to be complimented.

“Food and service squeak by to get average rating”
Reviewed June 19, 2014

Location and decor are the best parts of the restaurant. Food is exceedingly average. Service is disengaged - felt rushed out of the restaurant. No need to go out of your way to use this restaurant Many other better options on Main Street Park City.

“Rubbish”
Reviewed June 16, 2014

The food took along time and it was hugely disappointing and expensive, an over priced underwhelming experience. The ingredients were thrown together in a confusion of flavours that resulted in a mush of indeterminate flavour.
A few days later we visited the Red Iguana in Salt Lake City, which was a third of the price and five times as good.

“Unfortunate meal, terrible service”
Reviewed June 9, 2014

We had heard great things about this place, and on another day it might be better, but we were very disappointed.

After ordering food we waited an hour and 15 minutes to be served. The waiter only stopped by our table twice during this time, and seemed very overwhelmed. He brought us bread to nibble on, despite my husband reviewing his order to ensure that it was gluten free, so it was obvious that we couldn't eat the bread. We would have ordered more wine but were never given the opportunity. The hostess finally came over to tell us that there was a large party and that our order got backed up behind their order, but it still took a considerable amount of time to get our food. The couple seated immediately before us, and right next to us, received and ate their appetizers, dinner and dessert and then left before we ever received food we could consume.

As this was a celebratory dinner, it fell flat. Not sure that we will return the next time we are in town.

“Lick Your Plate”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

I have dined at Chimayo many times over the past so many years, but I can say, it's never enough. It's always an excellent evening of atmosphere, service, and lick-your-plate great food. I think it all happens in the sauces....there's magic in them.
