“Just OK”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

We usually go to Cisero's a couple of times when we visit Park City. This time, we went on a Monday night for their special. Host was OK, but not real friendly. Our waiter SAM was outstanding! Disappointed with my Caesar salad, and entree was just average. But the thing Cisero’s has going for it, is that they charge a fair reasonable price for food. Just disappointed, this time, with the quality of food.

“Ignored food allergy”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

There was no one at the host/hostess station which should have given us a clue about the service. We finally located the host who seated us outside and then we waited and waited and waited for service. Our waiter brought water but didn't ask if we wanted anything else to drink, we had to stop him as he walked past us from another table to request an iced tea. The tea was plonked down on the table but we had to ask him for sweetener. A member of our party was allergic to garlic, not an unusual food allergy and easily accommodated by a thoughtful chef, even in an Italian restaurant. When the waiter eventually came to our table he couldn't answer questions about garlic in an appetizer, disappeared "to ask the chef", reappeared after a while (and after serving other tables around us) with a list of about 3 dishes without garlic but no offer to amend a dish by omitting a sauce, the usual response from the kitchen. After being assured that the polenta itself contained no garlic we ordered the polenta appetizer with the marinara sauce on the side; when it arrived the polenta smelled strongly of garlic - if indeed it didn't contain any garlic (which we didn't believe) then it had been fried in a pan which had recently cooked a garlicky dish and hadn't been properly washed afterwards. The garlic allergy can make the member of our family seriously ill and should not be taken lightly. After smelling garlic on our appetizer we paid for the uneaten food and iced tea and left.

It's hard to trust a kitchen that doesn't take food allergies seriously. The waiter's attitude was cavalier at best. We will never eat at Cisero's again.

“Awesome food & Service”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

The quailty of the fresh ingrediants is top shelf. The Monday Night pasta night ($6.00 for speghetti and salad!). The wait staff are super friendly & helpful. Look for Will and Andrew at the Bar.

“Cisero's -- Now That's Italian!!!”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

Cisero's -- Now That's Italian!!! I knew when we visited that Cisero's was top rated, and there are several Italian restaurants in Park City. Don't bother with them - go to Cisero's! They're at the top of Main Street looking down with elevated outdoor seating - and this while a solo guitarist schooled in classical guitar strums Mediterranean melodies to your delight. I had an excellent Pinot Grigio. We started with a very generous house salad with a yummy red wine vinaigrette. And truth is, we were both starved from hiking, so we got the very basic Spaghetti Bolognese with meatballs. Primo! I haven't had better Bolognese sauce outside of New York. I mean, hey, "That's Amore." The service was great. What more can one ask. Visit Cisero's; you won't be disappointed!

“Incredibly good food, incredibly slow service.”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

My son requested italian for his birthday dinner, and after walking main street the previous night, he took a liking to their menu---good basic italian. We were seated outside as requested which was great--right on the street. And then we waited.....and waited. Finally, our server arrived with ice water and took our whole order right away...not just drinks. But then we waited some more...and waited....for our drinks. We had to ask for more water when he finally returned with our drinks. Then we waited for our food. Finally, our dinner arrived....food is FABULOUS. The marinara sauce is incredible. Meatballs tasty. Baked stuff shells--yum. But then again we waited...for more water, for plates to be cleared, for coffee. We did have a birthday celebration in the group and they comped a very delicious cookie/ice cream dessert. If you have time, go here...the food will not disappoint. But the slow service will.
