Description: Nestled at the top of Historic Main Street, every detail of a rustic, Italian country farmhouse gives Grappa its romantic atmosphere, down to the terrazzo tile, rough sewn wooden beams, and grapevine motif. The menu reflects a more refined and sophisticated approach to food. This gourmet Italian style Ristorante serves the likes of Grappa's Famous Osso Buco. The wine menu reflects a commitment to Italy and California. Grappa is known for its amazing presentation, attention to detail and fine service. The glass walls of this restaurant will give you an extraordinary view of the activity on Main Street.

This was our first restaurant experience in Utah. This restaurant is great! We were in Ogden on business, and chose to go out to Park City during the off season for a nice restaurant. We are so thankful that the visitor's center recommeded Grappa. The entrees can be pretty pricey, so visit on Mondays...local night...meals around $10-$12. Look at the pictures posted....they are great but they barely scratch the surface of the ambiance of this place! It feels as though you have stepped into an Italian restaurant in Italy. The views from the restaurant are breathtaking! The restaurant has 4 levels, patios, water features, patio heaters, lights, private dining, space for large parties...you name it. The food was great. We had portabello mushroom lasagne, asparagus flatbread, and horseradish crusted salmon...delicious! Three servers waited on our table. We NEVER had to ask for anything. Our glasses stayed full and used dishes were removed promptly. If you go, in order to grasp the full experience, make sure you finish your meal with a glass of grappa...sip slowly :) Enjoy!

We come to Park City every few years and Grappa has been our favorite restaurant. As such we decided to celebrate a very special occasion there tonight (Monday). In making the rez no one told us that on Monday they have as special, very limited menu. We were going to leave, but had already committed (and walked that long hill). The food was average, the service good, but we definitely were disappointed they didn't give us a heads up about Mondays. We spoke to the manager at the meal's end (I had asked to have the hostess come and see us after we learned of the special menu but she never did).

The manager was apologetic, but incredibly didm't ask if there was another night we could return.

Won't be returning...

Thank you for your review! During the Summer and Fall, we offer a "Locals' Night" at Grappa every Monday. On these nights, we offer a special discounted menu as a "thank you" to Park City residents (and non-locals, too!). We offer $5 appetizers, $10 entrees, $5 glasses of wine and more, and a limited offering of regular menu items. I'm very sorry our reservationist did not provide information about the limited menu; I understand how frustrating this was when expecting a full, regular menu. Please accept our apologies and we hope you'll dine with us again. Please contact me directly at allison@billwhiteenterprises.com to discuss your experience and see how we can make it right. Thank you again!

Grappa, and the other Bill White restaurants used to be the only fine dining act in town. Now Park City is teeming with great eats.

The location (top of main) and the ambiance (get a patio seat) are unbeatable.

The prices are a bit high for the quality. The food was good, but it didn't have the same level of execution that Talisker on Main or the J&G Grill do for the same price ($30-$40 per plate).

The place is a Park City institution, and the servers are fantastic (though the hostess was perhaps too young, didn't have the polish the servers did).

This place would be unbeatable if they'd lower their prices or up the wow factor with their food. Everything here is done right, but when you charge top end, you have to out-do the competition.

Bottom line:
Great, classic Italian restaurant at the top of Main Street. Good food but the place has yet to find it's standout dish or option to help distinguish it from the newer, flashier high-end dining options in Park City.
