We ate breakfast and lunch here for three days straight. You'd think you might tire of the food, but you'd be wrong. The offerings change daily. The only thing you can count on, is no matter what, the food will be excellent. Service was good, too. In the morning, they come around with coffee and orange juice within a minute of being seated. They served us beverages, plus anything else you wanted, like extra pancake syrup, whole wheat toast, etc.

What was on the breakfast buffet? Apple cinnamon pancakes, scrambled eggs with hot peppers and onions, maple glazed bacon, 10 types of breads/muffins/rolls, Italian Eggs Benedict, Steak Eggs Benedict, fruit, yogurt, cold cuts and cheeses, oatmeal with fruit toppings, fresh fruit salad (melons, pineapple, etc.), French toast, etc.

What was on the lunch menu? Venison stew, soups, pastas, great salad ingredients, shrimp cocktail, and at least 10 different desserts.

Unlike most buffets, with hit or miss offerings, everything is good. We never had to wait for a table, either.

Our party of 7 (two families wth 3 kids) enjoyed a fun and delicious dinner in a lovely and inviting atmosphere surrounded by an attentive, professional, and friendly service team.

An amuse bouche of beet, creme fr. and caviar started the evening off on the right note. A plentiful basket containing 5 to 6 varieties of delicious breads followed. The carpaccio, foie gras, and lobster soup (with chunks of lobster) appetizers were thoroughly enjoyed. My entree of the silky textured Hawaiian bass on a bed of pureed root vegetable with white asparagus and meyer lemon sauce was divine. Great balance of starch, acidity, textures, flavor, and lightness and not over salted. My husband enjoyed the elk tenderloin and my son ate every bite of the duck waffle entree (crackly, delicious shredded confit and slices of breast) over rice waffles and a maple syrup based sauce. The dessert menu looked tempting but we were sadly full. A sweet treat of cookies was the perfect ending. Wine menu selection and wine service very good with half bottles of red burgundy from Gevrey-Chamb. and Shafer merlot enjoyed. Nice variety of options on the children's menu too.

We all happily departed with a memorable and fantastic dining experience and will definitely return the next time we are back in Deer Valley. Thanks to the service team and kitchen for a wonderful evening.

Nice Place, WAY too croweded. HORRIBLE SERVICE, The Managers were awful aswell. When I had a Problem they were no where to be found. it took 1 hour for my food to come out without exageration. They want you to eat the Buffet which im sure is good.. if it wasnt sitting there for 4 hours already... it looked like dead food..... so we got a la carte and waited way too long and didnt get much more time to ski with the sun out... Thanks for wasting my day. They never addressed me by name only calling us "GUYS" when there were girls... It took 20 mins before I actually got a Drink. I Saw the Bartender COOKING IN THE BAR... instead of making drinks... ????
