Last minute decision to go snowmobiling on our day off from snow skiing. What a great choice of activity. We were lucky enough to get Jared as our guide. We were all beginners, but were confident on the snowmobiles. He allowed us to get off the beginner tract and get some speed. We all came away having had lots of smiles, laughter and good memories were made. Thanks summit meadows and Jared for a great day of fun.

We liked so much that we went for a second round, they are excellent! We were there last week, and the first time was such an incredible experience, that we booked a second tour two days later. It was terrific!

My family (wife, young child) had a wonderful experience snowmobiling with this outfit. It's owned by Deer Valley, so no surprise, the service and facilities are excellent. But we had a particularly excellent experience. The main event - the snowmobiling - was great. Our guide was great - informative, patient, friendly; the scenery beautiful; the equipment brand new. It is very close to Deer Valley/Park City - the closest snowmobiling, I think. It's reasonably priced (which is rare in this area - I was even told it's priced below market because it's viewed as an amenity to some extent for Deer Valley guests). The terrain was great (but I have to admit this was my first time so what do I know).

But it was in customer service where this outfit really excelled. We checked in early. We were paired with another family. That family had members of its group that showed up late and, to be blunt, the family was just rude and insensitive. They dragged their feet getting ready; after some arrived late to the facility, others -- who were at the facility -- took so long to get their equipment on they arrived late to the snowmobiles. They left their personal belongings all over the place in the lobby of the facility, despite being asked (very nicely) by the staff to use a locker. They were rude to the staff; they were oblivious to the fact anyone else was there or was paired with them. They yelled at each other and to the children in their group. There was more, but you get the picture.

The manager noticed this and offered that we could join the two hour group (we had booked one hour; thus the pairing with the rude family). We didn't have time to do two hours, so we had to decline. Then, after the rude family dragged their feet coming out to the snowmobiles, our guide noticed this on her own -- we didn't say anything to her -- and proactively just split us off to have our own guide (and a 3:1 ratio). It was impressive. And the ride was awesome and fun.

My husband and I took our teenage daughter on a recent trip. Our first time snowmobiling and what a great time. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our guide, Rob, was great. He was very attentive to everyone in the group and ensured we all felt comfortable with the vehicles. The tour path was beautiful, and the scenery unbelievable. We loved every minute of it. It was also a huge plus that they had the snow gear you could rent for a very reasonable price. We were definitely not cold!
