This is a must do when in Park City, it's location couldn't be better and it takes you way, Way up! There is one downside, and that is the fact that it's Sloooow! But, you're there to enjoy the mountain, right? So what's the rush? Sit back and enjoy the slow but unbelievably scenic ride, enjoy!

Gorgeous views and a very cool way to see Park City from a different angle. However... do NOT ride this if you have reservations or plans within an hour of jumping on. The guy at the ticket window informed us it takes 26 minutes up and 26 minutes down. 52 minutes, right? Not even close. We got on at 3:50 and didn’t get off until 5:35. It took an hour and 45 minutes!? Which was problematic for our 5pm dinner reservation. Even if we didn’t have somewhere to be, the lift was still too slow to be completely enjoyable. Aside from the painfully slow speed, countless times, it came to a complete stop for over a minute at a time. It was so slow that we passed a couple who was fully asleep. They either need to speed up the lift or be 100% honest about the ridiculous time investment.

If this lift operation moved at current speed in the winter there would be frozen people everyday. Obviously it’s a scenic ride but to sit in the blazing sun moving at a snails pace or not moving at all is not pleasant.
Once at the top you can get off and walk around or take a trail hike.

We stay at Summit Watch / Marriott, the lift is a ski-in and ski-out from there. It is located at the foot of the Historic Main Street. You can also check your skis and apres-ski from the lift.

Right at the bottom of the town lift. Quaint shops and eating places. Elevator to street and restrooms.

We were staying in a condo rental one block from this lift. So easy, no lines. On the way back down, ski right into High West Distillery. What you need to know is that the trail that brings you back down to this lift is tight, narrow, with tough turns and gets ice.

We stayed at the Lift Line Lodge operated by Park City Lodging which is at the Town Lift.
The lift is very convenient and it's very cool to go over part of the town on a ski lift.
The lift is older and slow, it takes about 10 min to get to the top.
There are many restaurants within walking distance and you can take the free city busses.
The ski trail to return here is an easy blue but can get icy.
There is a nice ski rental store here and they operate a ski valet if you are not staying nearby or want to store your skis.

Great way to get to the mountain. Load at the bottom of Main Street, come back afterwards and hit the food and bars apre ski. You can valet your skis right at the lift. The lift crosses over town- great view.

Very slow. Due to not much snow many things not working and long lines toward end of our trip after Christmas. Before much better.

Right in the city, you just walk to it, park your car, or ski to it and it takes you to the slopes right from the city center.
