“Felt like an expensive apt. Fully loaded”
Reviewed August 4, 2014

What a lovely place! Our 1 bedroom suite (I think you call it) had a living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen with Sub Zero appliances, counter with stools, stove, oven, microwave, and a murphy bed which was SUPER comfortable and easy to put up and down. Nice patio to sit in and could keep our door open with a breeze. Washer & dryer down the hall - super convenient and small so it did a load of personal items super quick.
The staff is exceptional. Kathie was our favorite - sooo helpful re: restaurants and sites to see. Cheerful. We would stay here in a minute! Can't wait to go in the winter when it's booming with skiers!

Room Tip: Ask for a fully equipped room. There are some rooms that maybe are cheaper but they are very small...

Booked "DINE and Stay" package last week. What a deal! Our room was well outfitted although a little tight space- wise do to our choice of 2 beds. Nice little kitchen area with microwave etc for warming up and storing meals in fridge. The real perk was an excellent meal for both people in their dining room,Cena, with FULL menu choice for the 3 courses offered on this package. (Ours valued $100. that night.)Dining service was excellent as well. The morning buffet was also outstanding and definitely had as many items to provide a full brunch meal if wanted. All in all, we feel we spent only $50.00 for the room that night do to the excellent meals provided. Our only slight disappointment is the small pool area, but of course I am reminded this is a ski area and pools cannot be used in winter! There was a small heated pool and 2 nice hot-tubs, so I am sure they are used year-round. Parking was indoors as well, and overall I am thinking this will become a new "go-to" resort for us. Staff was very friendly. Can't wait to return!

Very nice, reasonably priced. Excellent location for skiing, mountain biking or hiking from Deer Valley. Excellent breakfast at the on-site restaurant - "Cena". Super helpful and courteous staff.
If you want a 5 star hotel in Deer Valley there are other places that fit the bill - but if you want a reasonably priced, spotlessly clean, well located and comfortable place to enjoy PC then check out the Chateaux.

My family was extremely happy with our stay at the Chateau Deer Valley. The room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. It was very quiet, and extremely relaxing. We enjoyed swimming in the pool every afternoon and going on small hikes in the evening, the location couldn't be beat. My husband loved going on the chair lift just a few minutes away and riding his mountain bike down the mountain. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was nice, not the best quality, but definitely better than your standard continental.

Room Tip: We stayed in the double queen room. Some of these rooms are tucked back into a corner, those are sma...

The room was very clean and decorated just as photographed. The only problem was that it didn't have blackout shades which doesn't seem significant, but was rather distracting. They offer a shuttle into town; make sure you tip the driver!
It does get dark at night, so I recommend becoming familiar with the property during the day.

First, let me say that the only reason I don't give five stars is that it's not quite a 5-star resort/experience. That said, I wish I could rate 4.5. I stayed here for an anniversary night out. The room was lovely, staff is nice, beautiful lobby, great location, good parking. Only complaint is that our room was right above the pool, so view wasn't great and I didn't feel like we could open the window (ok, not a big deal). Fair warning - the fireplace really cranks out the heat. Location relative to Deer Valley is great - not ski in/ski out, but you're not more than 50 yards from the lift.

Room Tip: Upper rooms have a better view, although I don't think many of the rooms would have a view of th...

We stayed at the Chateaux with my parents, sister and her husband and our 4 children. They were very accommodating to make sure that all 10 of us had rooms that connected and the right amount of beds. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. The studio room was big enough for everyone to sit together and visit. We enjoyed the restaurant and also the pool and hot tubs. Front desk was super friendly and helpful. Perfect stay! Can't wait to go back.
