Love Park City for so many reasons, but the main one would have to be because the snow is so good! It is light and if you go at the right time, I'd say that it competes with some of the best snow in the world.

Traveler Tip: Wake up early and get here before the crowd. It's worth it to be some of the first people on the mountain.

My cousins and I do this often and it's really cool to look up at the top of the mountain and see lines that you guys drew coming down.

I'm a fellow traveler so I appreciate when other people have given me tips/recommendations while in a new city. If this information is helpful, please let me know by hitting the like button. Even if this review helps only one traveler then it's worth it to know I'm contributing towards making someone's experience better, giving to the global community, and paying it forward. Safe Travels!

We actually went up the mountain when there was no real snow yet, which is also great. We bought lift tickets to the first stop, and there we walked around. Many non-skiing activities going on, a lot of mountain biking and a lot of stunts. Food up there did not look so good, so decided only to have drinks and head back down again (we were not wearing our hiking shoes, unfortunately).

We spent the day there celebrating our son's 13th birthday. We went on a weekday in September and it wasn't busy at all. They were only open in the afternoon from 1-6, but that was plenty of time for us to be able to go down the alpine slide and coaster several times as well as enjoy some of the other attractions like the legacy launcher and mini golf. The views were beautiful with all the fall colors in the trees. The employees were all so friendly and nice when we were getting ready to ride the attractions. We bought day passes so we could have unlimited rides for the afternoon. It was worth it! We had so much fun and would definitely return next time we're in the area.

The bike park on the Canyons Village is fun. A couple of green runs, 4 blue runs and the rest are advanced runs. They could use some more variety in the bike park. The Canyons Village side has minimal single track trails, but the Park City base area of the resort is all single track trails. There is a trail that connects the 2 base areas.
