“Not Impressed”

Not saying it was a bad mountain, just compared to some of the other resorts out there, Park City would rank average. The lifts are fast, the mountain is vast, but the overall terrain isn't that challenging overall; you could compare it to an East coast mountain on a good day. There's a lot to do around the mountain, from shopping to dining, so that kind of makes up for it. Also they have night skiing, if you get in late and are anxious to hit the mountains.

“Excellent ski resort particularly with kids”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

Very well laid out resort, beautiful snow and great views. Free mountain tours daily which I highly recommend. We did the afternoon historic tour and managed to combine some fun history lessons with a series of beautiful runs. If you go with kids, be sure to look out for the Snow Bugs. We spent a whole day looking for each and every one of them, this was about the most fun I've had with our kids ever on a ski mountain. Tons of fabulous runs for your average intermediate skier. Some of the lift could do with being spruced up, and some don't even have protector bars which is fine in nice weather but a bit scary if it's snowy and windy. We had one day on the weekend when the weather was beautiful where lift lines got pretty long but to their credit they have great staff that move them along pretty quickly. Snow Hut restaurant at base of SilverLode needs to be made seriously bigger, food is really nice but nowhere near enough seating if it's cold outside. Summit House had plenty of room but food was pretty poor.

Overall though a true world class ski resort, will definitely return

“I just love this place <3”

What can you say about a resort that has everything a power skier could want? Vertical, powder, groomers and a park. Yes, there are snowboarders here, but they all have smiles on their faces!! Save your lunch money and go into town for your "real" meal. Brown bag it and go to the Yurt and eat in the sunshine. Happy turning!

“As good as any resort”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 7, 2013

Really wonderful skiing. I skiied by myself and covered 45 miles in 5 hours - pretty good. There is always skiiing, even if yo uare trying to move around the mjountain to different lifts. You are always skiing runs to do so. And the dining options were great. Mountainside was breathtaking. Food was good and reasonable too.

“We love this area!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2013

We are three 60+ year-olds who skied Park City four of our eight ski days. We had a great ski experience here - varied ski terrain, well-marked trails, good on-mountain restaurants. Of particular enjoyment was the historic mountain host tour and the availability of mountain hosts at map locations all over the mountain. With $61 Liftopia tickets for the four days, this was a geat value!
