“Best resort in the area”

park City is a great resort for all skiier abilities. It has a huge amount of varied terrain and the good thing is you can get all around the mountain pretty easilly, so never wasting too much time going places. Advanced skiing here is the best that greater Park City has to offer.

Ski School - whilst expensive, it is extremely well runa nd the staff are great. There are never more than 5 well matched kids in any lesson and the focus is on safety and fun. they take tots as young as 3 and give them a fun day of indoor and outdoor experiences.

Mountain staff here are always so friendly and helpful - can't fault them

Food is great and fairly reasonable for mountain restaurants!

“Great mountain”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

Overall this is a great mountain. They could use some variety by leaving some of the intermediate terrain ungroomed and grooming some of the steeper expert slopes. I have bad knees so can't do the moguls very well anymore but I still love the steep.

“many different trails”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

Nice mountain – a lot of different trails. I liked the information stands on the mountain showing what trails are groomed, etc., very helpful staff is ready to answer any question.
The negative side – no gondolas, all lifts are open. It was very cold during our visit, so we missed gondola. Also some lifts do not have a closing bar, it is pretty scary to ride, especially with kids.

“Slopes to yourself, unheard of, but true”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

Terrified of crowded slopes? Never you fear! Ski Park City Ski Resort is the place for you if you ski during the Sundance Film Festival. During the second half of January (check dates of the festival before booking a room, if you can get one )the LA and NYC film crowd descend on Park City, Utah. They take every hotel room, except yours, and watch films all day, leaving the slopes virtually empty. And if it snows... walk up Main Street and check out the Stars freezing in loafers and black leather jackets stepping in 3 foot snow drifts. Plan reservations in advance if you intend to eat out, as the film crowd takes most of the good places for private parties leaving little to no access to food. Take out from anything at Kimble Junction is a good bet.

“Great Ski Resort”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

We were there during early season, so not very many runs were open. Nevertheless, it was a great experience. The lifts are newer and nicer, the runs were well groomed, and the eating establishments on the mountain were very nice. This trip was just my wife and I, but we plan to take our kids back when they are old enough to ski. It truly lives up to its reputation of being a family friendly resort.
