Nice mountain – a lot of different trails. I liked the information stands on the mountain showing what trails are groomed, etc., very helpful staff is ready to answer any question.
The negative side – no gondolas, all lifts are open. It was very cold during our visit, so we missed gondola. Also some lifts do not have a closing bar, it is pretty scary to ride, especially with kids.

Terrified of crowded slopes? Never you fear! Ski Park City Ski Resort is the place for you if you ski during the Sundance Film Festival. During the second half of January (check dates of the festival before booking a room, if you can get one )the LA and NYC film crowd descend on Park City, Utah. They take every hotel room, except yours, and watch films all day, leaving the slopes virtually empty. And if it snows... walk up Main Street and check out the Stars freezing in loafers and black leather jackets stepping in 3 foot snow drifts. Plan reservations in advance if you intend to eat out, as the film crowd takes most of the good places for private parties leaving little to no access to food. Take out from anything at Kimble Junction is a good bet.

We were there during early season, so not very many runs were open. Nevertheless, it was a great experience. The lifts are newer and nicer, the runs were well groomed, and the eating establishments on the mountain were very nice. This trip was just my wife and I, but we plan to take our kids back when they are old enough to ski. It truly lives up to its reputation of being a family friendly resort.

Although it was -5 degrees, the mountain was in great shape. Well groomed trails, wide open ski runs. Great food at all the establishments 'mid mountain'

Super cold that day. Runs were great, but the cold cut like a knife.Breakfast buffet was good for only 9 bucks.
