“Excellent accommodations”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2012

We have skied as a family in several locations in the West for many years. This year we had 10 adults and a toddler. The Snow Flower unit 29 was a fine place to stay. I don't usually write reviews, but this experience was so "on the mark" for us, I wanted to share it. The condo we had--6 bdrm--wasn't luxurious or glamorous, but it was very comfortable, with 2 separate social areas. It had one of the best-appointed kitchens I've ever rented--we cook in a lot. The location and access to skiing and town was fine; the tv system couldn't download from Netflix which was a bit inconvenient, but that wasn't too important. The plumbing all worked--all the time! The place is well-organized and well-run. We would certainly go back.

Upsides:

- Close to the lifts (but note intermediate / advanced skiers will need to ride a lift and ski a short run down to get to their slopes)
- Well maintained
- Parking spot with each condo
- Reasonable value for money - we got a stay four nights get one free deal

Downsides

- Reception weren't that helpful resolving our problems (suggesting the fact the internet connection was not working was to do with our computers even when we said we had checked this)
- The hot tubs are not as nice as you might hope and seemed rarely used

All that said, it would be a top choice for a return stay. Hopefully better snow next year!

We stayed at the Snow Flower in a 2/2 first floor unit for spring break 2012 and it is SO easy to access everything from the unit. It is truly ski-in/ski-out, it's a short walk (or ski) to the mountain resort center, the units are updated and the staff is so friendly! We had a rental car so didn't use the trolley/bus system and the parking is also easy and convenient. The only shortfall was having to use the laundry on the second foor. Everything else was exactly as the pictures and descriptions reflected. We have stayed at the Snow Flower twice now and will return!

Room Tip: We had a first floor, building 3 unit and we could ski to the back patio BUT you can hear EVERY SOUN...

I can't believe how close the lodge is to the lifts! We has a mix of experienced skiers and brand new skiers, including a 6 year old. Everyone commented on how easy the ski-in/ski-out was. We also took advantage of the local FREE bus and trolley system. The unit we had was very well stocked with dishes and plenty of firewood and spacious. Everything was very clean with a spot to leave our boots so we could keep it clean. The master bed was a tad hard, but I'm used to my sleep-number air bed so it's hard to compare. The second best part, behind the skiing, was the hot tub and heated pool. My only recommendation would be easier access to the pool from the buildings or a place to leave clothes, shoes and towels so the snow doesn't accumulate on them. Yes, we were using the pool while it was snowing and it was fantastic!

Room Tip: First floors was very convenient, but ski boots do make a lot of noise on the 2nd floor.

Just returned from a visit to Park City and enjoyed our stay at SnowFlower. Having Ski in/Ski out access was the best! Easy access regardless of ski level. Super easy to trot over to the resort for lift tickets, rentals, or cocktails apres-ski!

Room Tip: beware of noise from trail grooming at night. It didn't bother me but at least one person in our...

I've stayed here about half a dozen times and I just love it. Nice accommodations, great staff and unbelieveable location. This truely is slope side. You put your boots on in your room, get your skis out of the locker in the basement and walk outside to the lift which is no more that 25 yeards away. The soaking pool is sweet as well. I doubt that I'll ever stay anywhere else in Park City.

Room Tip: Ask for a room which has a slopeside view.

Very convenient location right on the ski runs.
Apartment was well kept with all the amenities advertised in the site.
Service was friendly and helpful.
Ski lockers and heated pool are very convenient
The only problem was the daily cleaning service that we paid extra for and was very poor and some noise at night from the resort grooming equipments.
