The best ski in/ski out accommodations to be had. Courtesy ski equipment storage is a life saver. Great views of the ski area.

We have skied in Park City for years and have always admired the Marriott Mountainside as we passed it on the Payday chairlift.
This is our first time staying here and we have been very happy. It is ski in/ski out and the pool/jacuzzi are great. But, compared to other ski in/ski out resorts (ie, Park Hyatt in Beaver Creek) this resort is lacking in a few ways. There is no valet for the skis, which isn't that big a deal, except from the slopes you have to carry your skis through the pool area to the overnight storage (whereas in other resorts, you are greeted on the slopes and never have to trek through anything with your equipment.) The cleaning staff is very slow, perhaps understaffed. There is no room service as it is not a full service hotel. (again, comparing it to other ski in/ski out resorts). But, if you can get a good price (unused time-share on the internet for less than half of the rack rates) it's worth it. You can't beat the location and the rooms are spacious. A good choice for families with kids of all ages.

Great ski in ski out location as it is nearly connected to the ski lodge/village and slopeside. Staff was friendly and helpful. Facility was as advertised and seemed to be in great condition. Rental car is not required as cabs are available everywhere, but I would personally recommend if you want to explore some of the surrounding areas. Olympic Park is well worth the visit, especially if you can catch it on a day where they are practicing freestyle aerials. Truly unbelievable to watch in person.

I have stayed at alot of various ski lodges, and will stay at this one again. I strongly recommend for anyone wanting great ski in ski out accomadations. Facilities were very nice, so all in all is well worth the money.

One Word, WOW! I took the wife and 2 kids, ages 7 and 10 to this oasis on the mountainside. I will start out with the bad(or more appropriately inconvenient). We arrived in Park City on 1/13/07, but our stay did not commence until the 14th. We shared a friends condo for the night of the 13th. We skied all day on the 14th and at 4:30 PM we went to check in, and we were told our room was not ready, and they were not sure when it would be ready. They took our phone number and said that they would call when our room was ready. We returned to our friends condo and waited for the call that the room was ready and the call never came. We returned to the hotel at around 7:30PM and checked in without a hassle. No phone call, but oh well.. With all that being said, do not count on getting in to your room at 4. Make plans to go to dinner and come back later in the evening OR check in with the front desk early in the day to plead your case.
Aside from the check in , this was the most pleasant stay I have ever had at a hotel or resort. GOOD THINGS CAME TO THOSE WHO WAITED! The hotel is gorgeous, very clean and the staff was very helpful. We stayed in the 2 bdrm villa, and the view was out of sight. We slept 6 people comfortably, and there was room to spare. The kitchen was fully stocked w/ cooking equipment, and the hotel even provided additional cooking items like crock pots and waffle makers on request. The beds were comfy, and the bathroom spacious, and there was even a mud room. We were on the 8th floor and never waited more than 1 minute for and elevator. The first day housekeeping ended up getting to our room at 5PM, so we had them skip servicing our room, but they restocked us with supplies anyway. The next day, we called housekeeping and asked for them to send the cleaning crew up early, and they arrived mid morning, which was great. As for amenitys, the ski valet was handy, and the resort offered all kinds of kid activiites and programs to choose from. The 5 hot tubs and pool were fantastic, and the staff even helped us grill out at 2 below zero one night. Access to the lifts could not have been more convenient, just go out the gate past the hot tubs and slide down to one of the lifts. I am already planning a return trip, to this wonderful resort.
