“Spacious rooms, excellent location, friendly staff”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

We stayed at TMI for 4 nights over the weekend. The family room was perfect, large and clean with kitchen, 2 TVs and free wifi. The staff was very friendly and extra helpful, booking restaurants etc. There is free parking and you can walk to all the shops and restaurants (eat breakfast at the java cow, great crepes and freshly baked goods). I liked TMI a lot but it was noisy on Saturday (Thursday and Sunday were very quiet). There are a lot of bars and clubs on the main street and unfortunately we stayed right on the road so it was pretty loud around closing time. I would definitely stay at TMI again but next time, take a room in the back near the lovely heated pool!

Room Tip: Stay away from the main road, take a room in the back

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days in February 2014 while skiing at Park City Mountain & Deer Valley Mountain. Stayed in king junior suite. Beautiful room, nice kitchen, nice bathroom, right in the heart of park city. Doesn't get any better. A+!

I stayed here for a conference back in October, 2013 and was pleasantly surprised by the apartment-like rooms. Everything was immaculately clean and comfortable. I could picture staying here with my family for a ski-getaway. The staff were personable - it felt more like a B&B - and gave us good tips on places to go in town - all within walking distance or on the free trolley//buses. Had a very lovely time. Thank you!

Room Tip: Be prepared to navigate the parking garage and trolley your bags to the rooms. It's a bit of a...

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE staff AND management! The owner went out of her way to be rude to our very large group! DO NOT STAY HERE! Staff is super slow getting you into your rooms and your rooms are far away with no elevator. Be ready to pack and haul your things a long way after waiting.

Room Tip: You can find better room and value somewhere else!

Loved the location. Was great for walking around downtown, seeing the summer art gallery, grabbing a coffee, ice cream and beer. Super nice rooms. Would be great with a family. Laundry machines available downstairs, fairly convenient. Nice staff.

This was my second stay and I really dig this place.

The junior suite rooms are comfortable, nicely adorned with a modern look and mountain/skiing themes; the bed is great. The kitchenette with toaster, microwave, coffee maker and mini-fridge makes life easier and cheaper. It's not a typical hotel as the rooms are actually private condos that are rented out, so there is some variation in the rooms. Ski storage in the lobby is convenient (poles still go back to your room).

The location is great, at the top of Main Street with shuttles and buses across the street and a 5-10 minute to everything you need. Parking is free and given the convenience of walking and free transport, you should just leave your car parked and enjoy Park City.

The best part: the hot tub. It's the best one I've every experienced. It's a very large (20' x 10' or so) and 20-person. Set in the courtyard with warm water waterfalls, it's social, relaxing, hot and with many jets to soothe the ski challenged muscles.

The major drawback is that it doesn't have an elevator so dragging ski gear and bags up and down stairs is a pain. Also, while there is a restaurant in the building, it doesn't have a lobby bar or social space.

Overall, I think this is a great spot if you want to be on Main Street, but still easily get to the mountains.

Green Features: The hotel purpots to have a super green focus, off-setting carbon, recycling, etc.

I always like to state the pros and cons to help other people to decide for themselves depending on what their priorities are.
So let's have it.

Pros:
- location is pretty good, at the top of Main Street. About 10min walk from the transit center where you can jump on the bus to go everywhere, for free, and a stroll from all restaurants.
- the hot tub is great. Good size and super hot.
- the morning shuttles are very useful when you are carrying your ski equipment to the mountains.
- the junior suite has a good size with the kitchen.
- replacing coffee everyday made us super happy :)
- cleaning does the dishes.

Cons:
- hot water does not last long so only one person can shower every 30min.
- the inn has no elevator so you have to be ready to drag your suitcases up and down the stairs. Definitely not good for the elderly.
- reception was rude with our shuttle driver on arrival which was very uncomfortable.
- it was not very clean (dusty, hair on blankets at arrival..) and for some reason, we would not get new soap without asking for it.
- there's only storage for about 16 skis, maybe 2 snowboards (and there are way more rooms than that). If you arrive late, you have to storage your equipment in the room.

Overall, a good stay.

Room Tip: Stay at the higher floors so you don't have to hear your neighbors steps.
