Convenience and pricing is the best match in Park City if into winter sports. Given that there is a decent ski/board shop in the hotel with free storage, almost full service Starbucks in the hotel, free shuttle to Park City Mountain Resort (5 minutes), in-room refrigerator and several decent restaurants(Cafe Trang - awesome!) within walking distance (300 feet), very recommended as highly functional hotel with typical Marriott rooms. Underground parking though a bit tight to manuever, was plentiful. Everything worth going to within Park City is easily within 10 minutes. Hotel restaurant was actually quite pleasant, unusual for Marriott chain.

However, if someone is expecting a top of the lne "resort" experience, not going to get it. The bell service while enthusiastic is quite amateurish, definitely need formal training. Housekeeping performed an adequate job, tough with all of the snowboarding gear laid out. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly allowing a room change. I was not particularly fond of opening up my window just to look inside someone else's window not 20 feet away. General issue with any hotel that has inside facing windows to "see" the courtyard.

Inside pool was nice along with the spa, however, as is usual, parents with lots of kids like to take them over even though children are not allowed in spas. Typical parental behavior can't really do anything about so did not get to use them.

The full resort experience is Dakota Mountain Lodge (newly opened) which was absolutely amazing staying there, however, $500 more per night should get you something extra.

All things considered, this Marriott is great value just go to Dakota if ego being stroked is part of your required vacation experience (which I am a fan of).

checked in and they never told us there was a free underground garage so we ended up having to dig our car out of the snow and ice the next morning.

rooms not made up until 3 or later in the afternoon

we asked about ski storage and was told they didn't have a place to store skis.....which in fact they do have.

A soliod choice for a standard marriot fare- nice rooms, we had a corner suite which allowed us to spread out. Good amenities and close location in the center of town to all the action of park city. Attentive staff and helpful front desk attendants. My only complaint was being able to hear the people walking on the floors above you- we were on the 3rd floor and the people above us were just walking and we could hear ever step. Very strange and some what annoying.

Went skiing for 2 days at Park City Resort December 6th and 7th. Room was clean with a big king bed and all the pillows. Had no problems sleeping. Ice machine 2 doors away. Safe parking garage next to an elevator that takes you to your floor. Located near a grocery store and restaurants. In fact, there's a good Mexican restaurant next door called Nacho Mamma's. Only 5 minutes to Park City Resort, about 15 to Deer Valley. They have an indoor heated pool and hot tub, work out room, fire place, Starbucks downstairs. The function of this hotel is perfect, and it's worth the extra money. Very easy to load and unload your ski gear in the parking garage, and take it to your room.

I had a great stay at Park City Marriott. The hotel staff couldn't have been friendlier and the rooms were nice. I will definitely stay there again this year. They did a great job accommodating our large group, which included several kids with special needs. I particularly loved the hot apple cider served every afternoon, which was a treat after a long day on the slopes.

We got the Park City Marriott with a priceline bid of $70. We just wanted to go on an overnight trip so we probably would not have gone if we had to pay their posted online rates. The room was nice and the beds were really comfortable. We were given a room next to the elevator, but it wasn't too loud. We had to ask for more towels at the pool, but they had totally restocked them for us by the time we changed into our swimsuits. Our only problem with the hotel was that they failed to get their money from priceline so we ended up with a surprise charge on our credit card. They took care of the matter quickly once we discovered the problem.
