We were pleasantly surprised--more than we expected! The museum (2 floors) is divided between Olympic history and then that of the 2002 Olympics. Really very well done and informative!!! We were able to watch the aerial practice where the skiers jump into a pool of water. Several jumps and alot of fun watching. This was all at no charge. They have zip lines and bobsled rides available different days. Worth checking out! Took a tour with a skeleton contender that was verrrry informative, and guided us around property to bobsled, bottom of the big jumps, etc. This was absolutely terrific!!!
Recommended highly.

We went last year (Sept 2012) and saw the acrobatic skiers doing flips into the pool and toured the museum and exhibits. This is all free! My husband wanted to try the bobsled ride but it was not running at the time (weekend afternoons only in the fall).

This year the bobsled was operating so he signed up. There is a short film/safety briefing and then you have to "sign your life away" with the waiver. They take you to the top in a shuttle bus. You pick a helmet for the ride. A guide explains the sled loading procedure and asks what position you'd like. The 4th seat (the back) is the wildest ride. The second seat is the least wild. They "loosely" strap you in and tell you to get your back straight and shoulders hunched up.

We met three firefighters from Jackson Hole while waiting for his ride, They became the "pushers" for his sled ride. They must have done a good job because his time was 1:00.9 (anything around 1 minute is a good time). That was the fastest time of the day so far.

He described this ride as a "roller coaster on steroids". He really felt the g-forces when making the turns. There is not much of a view since you only see the back of the helmet of the guy in front of you. It was a pure adrenal rush for 60 secs.

Was he glad he tried it? Yes. Would he do it again? - Once is enough.

The park also has ziplines and ropes course available for separate fees.

So there really is something for everyone. A great way to spend 1/2 day or more while in PC.

PS - It is nearby an upscale shopping mall and an outlet mall.

We didn't see any good signs directing you but once there we found free parking. Worth walking around building with its ski museum and other exhibits and the area.

I've lived at the base of Parley's Canyon for over a decade and have never stopped at the park until today. Watching the ski jump practice was pretty awesome (especially when the advanced group started using the big ramp)! We had purchased Salt Lake Connect Passes, which included either the Alpine Slide or the small Zip line. We opted for the alpine slide because 1) it had a longer track and 2)the posted sign said it was a 30 minute wait. The wait was WAYYYY longer, like over an hour. The slide was fine, but not exhilarating. I might want to try the extreme zip line though.

It was a nice visit, and I can say I've done it (and as a bonus it is close to the outlet mall).

Dear sic_singer, Thank you for the feedback! We love it when locals visit. This is our second season of extending adventure operations into the fall and it's been great to see the strong turn out. At the same time, it has resulted in some growing pains. Your input is very important and helps us make improvements going forward. Hope to see you this winter!

The free museum was great, interactive, and very informative! There were activities for all ages, and tours of the park. The view was beautiful from up there as well!
