“Grand place for a wedding!”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

I attended a close friend's wedding at the St Regis. It was beautiful. Appointments were top drwer and, notably, the staff, from the valets to the concierge, were wonderfully friendly. The outdoor setting was magnificent, even (especially) with the great purple skies of a storm coming over the mountain (we escaped). Class place.

One of the nice surprises was finding supplies for smores at the fireplace on the deck. The weather cools in the mountains in the summer evenings, which made a fire nice. Clean, comfortable rooms. The funicular is a nice novelty, but gets old fast if you have to come and go very much.

This hotel is the definition of luxury. From the incredibly grand lobby to the outdoor areas and the fantastic suites - this hotel delivers everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. We had the good fortune of staying in a suite complete with an outfitted kitchen, sitting areas in both the living room and bedroom, two fireplaces and butler service. It was expensive but completely worth it!

The spa is beautifully appointed - very nice locker rooms, sauna, steam and hot tub. Be sure to taste test the chocolates in the relaxation rooms. The coed relaxation room downstairs is nice and has a lovely outdoor seating area. The spa services were top notch although always a bit pricey at a place like this.

We were visiting during the summer outdoor concert series and saw Lyle Lovett in the outdoor amphitheater. It was a blast! The hotel provided a picnic dinner basket and included a blanket which came in handy as the sun went down.

The shuttle service to Park City is very handy and makes shopping and dining in Park City fun and easy. A fantastic stay at a beautiful hotel! We can't wait to return!

St. Regis suffers from setting the bar VERY high. This is a beautiful property. Wonderful public spaces. The suite was terrific with all you would normally expect from a St Regis but add in a fantastic kitchen worthy of a chef.

of particular note, the butlers Thomas and Alexander are awesome!!

I have stayed in some of the finest hotels and resorts in the world and this hotel outranks them all! The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to satisfy every request as quickly as possible, from the simple request for extra towels or the more unusual and difficult request to go to a pharmacy at 2:00 AM (!) to get me a pain relief medication for a urinary tract infection. No request was too difficult and each request was filled quickly, with the staff indicating it was their pleasure to satisfy my requests. In addition, the facilities are beautiful, the accommodations first rate, the restaurants excellent and concierge and housekeeping services perfection. There is a fleet if cars to take you into town and the longest I ever waited was five minutes -- and the hotel was at full capacity. I am so glad I stayed here and recommend this hotel highly and unequivocally.

Service at check-in was suspect but otherwise, great hotel and great experience. Our second time here during the summer and can't wait to come back.

The Everything Crusted Pizza for breakfast at J&G Grill was amazing.

Room Tip: Room 608 was very average and offered a decent view of the mountains.

The St. Regis Deer Valley has all you should expect and more from a top-of-the-line luxury resort. Front desk service and valets were sincere and accommodating. Two examples: the front desk attendant offered to print my boarding pass for me instead of pointing me to the business center to do it myself; returning from dinner the doorman noticed I had purchased a bottle of whiskey from a local distillery and offered to bring some fresh ice up to my room so that I could enjoy it.

Housekeeping service was wonderful. The amenities were top-notch. Great soaps, shampoos, etc., linens were clean crisp and well-made. Turn down service was fantastic - they even go so far as to set up a glass and bottle of water by the bed, and set out slippers for you.

The rooms and furnishings were well-made, clean and comfortable. The gym was above-average and the pool fantastic. Pool lounge chairs were comfortable with lots of large beach towels around. There was food and beverage service by the pool (starting at about 11 a.m. each day).

Food and drinks were, again, top-notch. Very fresh, well-made and delicious. Hotel appeared to be very family-friendly and had large areas of seating, fire pits (complete with s'mores fixings) and fun activities even in the summer.

The shuttle service was more like private limo service -- large Cadillac Escalades that take you from the front door of the hotel to anywhere in town you'd like. Just call the phone number, and they come pick you up and bring you back to the hotel.

Can't wait to spend more time at the St. Regis! Hopefully in the winter next time!
