“Great food; service uneven”
Reviewed March 7, 2013

This was our second time here and we thought it had improved considerably since we came here a year before. The bar and restaurant were full and lively. The menu was innovative and we enjoyed the food. We had ordered a tartalette - a sliced potato gratin-type side dish. They did not bring it with our entrees and we had to ask about it. When they finally brought it out, it was unevenly cooked and cold in some parts. Our main server was pretty knowledgeable about the food but a little spacey. Other servers seemed like they were there for the skiing.
The atmosphere was cozy and we enjoyed our experience, but we recognized there was room for improvement in the execution of the menu.

Great restaurant in the Waldorf Astoria....try the fondue! Kids raved over the chicken fingers and fries. Great Apres Ski.

“Good Food, Nice Bar”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

I ate dinner here during Sundance with a friend who was visiting Park City from out of town. We sat at the bar as we wanted to have a quick meal before a film. We were able to order off of the dining room menu while seated at the bar. We had cosmos (excellent) and ordered the filet and the pumpkin ravioli special. Both entrees were excellent, and the bartender was great - fast, attentive service. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant with cushy leather seats and a lodge feeling...although I am not crazy about the fake antlers sticking out of the walls. I also love the atmosphere at the Waldorf, in general. The lobby has a roaring fireplace in the winter time and overstuffed seating. It is a nice area to sit and relax if you have the time before or after dinner.

“Limited menu”
Reviewed February 13, 2013 via mobile

Had chicken soup and was pretty good. Flatbread was tasty, tried the pork tenderloin and it was so salty had to send it back . Had chicken soup instead...again. Would not say it was great even for hotel food. Will go to Main Street from now on.

“Food is nice enough, service needs work”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

Enjoyed the food. Staff were friendly but disorganized. Place needs some leadership to whip it into shape.
