“"Deer" Valley”
Reviewed April 3, 2013

We had a great family ski week at Deer Valley. Facilities are great. I took a free intermediate level guided tour of the mountain that added greatly to my week. Skiing is not for the poor but I'm reminded that Deer Valley could also be called "Dear" Valley. Everything from ski rental to the price of a senior lift ticket was a notch higher than Park City and most other ski resorts.

“Our favorite ski resort”

Always a first class ski experience. Same price as Park City and the Canyons, with the senior and/or military discount.

“Spring Skiing”

Hard packed in the am, great at lunch, slush in the afternoon. It really didn't live up to my expectations when paying over $100 a day

“Good but expensive”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

No doubt great skiing and above average dining. However, given the cost, other nearby ski resorts may provide the great skiing without the frills.

“Horrible Conditions and Horribly Crowded”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

We skiied Deer Valley on March 29, 2013 - first time , last time. Besides the slushy conditions, the trails were dangerously crowded and life lines long. Lots of little kids, including mine. But they're happy to take your money, with a smile, and though they're really sorry and they totally understand, there's nothing they can do. I learned my lesson about Deer Valley. There are better options
