The skiing was really nice and the lift lines weren't long at all. I just wish there were some more options for dining and drinks.

Skied deer valley today and enjoyed the day. They have lots of blue groomers, great service and great food. If you like to ski groomed stuff and like to be waited on this is your place. You pay extra for the amenities.

I can't say enough that this resort is by far the best ski resort! First class all the way! People are always there to help you everytime you turn around. Runs for every level, and absolutely perfect for families with all different ages. Will be return for years to come with our family!

We are former locals and come back for most of every winter. Our favorite place to ski (hands down) is Deer Valley. In fact, after almost every visit I exclaim, 'that was the BEST ski day of my life!' and I totally mean it. From the minute you drive up, the attendants rush to greet you with a huge smile and welcome and whisk your equipment off to await your return from the parking lot. Parking is plentiful and easy with a shuttle to the base if you want to save your legs.Changing rooms are large and comfortable with free boot and glove warmers and self and full serve locker areas. Everything is convenient and right at your fingertips. Two bonuses: no snowboarders (although I realize that may not be a bonus to all) and limited ticket sales. Total bummer if you get shut out from a ticket due to the number of skiers they allow on the mountain, but awesome if you are one of the lucky ticket holders that do get in. We were able to buy our tickets for the next day after 3pm and didn't make that mistake again. Our fave side of the mountain is Northside with a new high speed lift and very few people, we often ski our fave runs (Jordannelle, Mountaineer) by ourselves (killer blues). No matter where you eat you will pay higher prices than in town but you are at Deer Valley and the quality will knock your socks off. We love to have lunch at Stein Erickson's lodge and sitting on the patio next to a fire pit is the ultimate end to a great day. There are runs for the whole family, lots of hidden stashes of powder, and runs to challenge even the most expert skiers in your group. Deer Valley is heaven on earth.

I've been to all three resorts in Park City and we loved Deer Valley the best! They have numerous green runs which is perfect for our family. Tried a couple blue runs and noticed they have quite a few blue, too. Awesome staff: everyone was very friendly. President's Weekend isn't a great time to go because it was so very busy. However, I would highly recommend this destination for those skiers trying to get better on green runs and for those making a transition to blue runs.
