It is a beautiful hotel, it must be said. The staff is friendly, but bumbling. Let’s take room service. Our dinner arrived, along with a couple of bottles of water. They forgot the bottle opener. By the time it arrived, we’d finished our dinner. Then we stepped out of the room for a couple minutes. When I returned our service table had been removed, along with the fresh pot of tea and water bottles I had set aside on the kitchen counter. Now personally, if I’ve spent 12 bucks for water I’d like the chance to drink it. So, for heavens sake, here we are waiting for our drinks again. Incredibly, they forgot the bottle opener a second time. Then, at 9:15pm room service knocks loudly on the door to deliver a cocktail—not mine! But thanks for waking up the sleeping baby.

At the Waldorf I expect exceptional service—not a comedy of errors. This amount of bungling doesn’t make for a relaxing stay, particularly when you have three small kids.

Also, the Kids’ Club is closed. Worth noting their own staff is apparently unaware of this, as I had a bellhop enthusiastically tell my kids they had their own special place on the 4th floor! …. Just kidding!

Been to this hotel a few times. The first time was shortly after it opened and they were amazing from the get-go. Exceptional service. Beautiful and spacious rooms. Heated pool and Jacuzzi in the winter was fabulous. Secluded hotel means no outside nice. Peaceful. Elegant. Will continue to go here each winter.

Room Tip: If you can get a room with full kitchenette and living room you will not be disappointed.

We stayed at the Waldorf Park City over Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful experience. We booked a 2 bedroom/3 bath suite, and we couldn't have been more impressed with the unit. Both bedrooms were master suites, and we had a total of 4 fireplaces. The kitchen had all Viking appliances, and we had everything we needed to cook during our stay. The service was superb, which was a pleasant surprise given that we were traveling in between seasons. The food was also a highlight. Though there wasn't a lot of options, everything they prepared (particularly the grill at the pool) was exceptional. Our only problem was a manicure I received that was poorly done; however, the spa receptionist quickly remedied this the next day by having another manicurist fix the problem. Otherwise, the rest of our spa services were all top notch. Overall, we will definitely be staying here again next summer as we had a great time and felt like we got our money's worth.

This was the third summer that our family had a mini reunion at the Waldorf Astoria park City and we will keep coming back. The staff were attentive and made us feel at home. The room was outstanding and the pool was just the right size and configuration for our family of all ages. The grandchildren loved the "smores" each evening.

Rather offhand welcome late at night. First night of 3 night stay was in a standard room despite diamond status. Moved to an upgraded room for next 2 nights. Hotel seemed deserted, only one other family was using the pool during our entire stay.
