Terrible Room, not even a chair or a desk in it. Where do you use computer??? Basically no ammenities; no turn down at night. No utensil to open coffee packet, not even coffee stirs, no water, sweet and low not replaced, no newspapers delivered, no lobby coffee pot, single layer, hard toilet paper - cheapest available. Morning breakfast bar: coffee, juice, roll, $30+tip for 2, restaurant seating bad, no ambiance, 1.5/loveseat, cannot add a extra chair, cold soup, very high priced for what you got. Very lack luster hotel with virtually no amenities. Difficult to get into van for seniors or children; no running board, or step stool.

I was recovering from surgery and checked into the Waldorf for three days. The pool and amenities were exceptional. I had a great experience. The room was large and luxurious (e.g. Viking appliances in kitchen). I have recommended to others and plan to book a long weekend again in the near future.

Superior hotels deal with issues that arise quickly and effectively. It is unrealistic to think that there will never be issues. However, a hotel distinguishes itself in its reaction to them. We came home after a wonderful day to a taped off balcony and blocked view because of some unexpected painting. When I called the front desk, they went out of their way to make it right. We were cajoled into moving rooms, (which I was not wanting to do) but they made it absolutely painless. What a wonderful team!

Here's the scoop. This hotel is over the top wonderful. Viking appliances in the suites. Everything is spotlessly clean. Matt, the bartender makes amazing drinks. Large living rooms and nice sized dining room tables. Great beds, wii fii, shuttle to downtown, great restaurant, the pool is super... I am not sure what else I can say. This place exceeded my expectations on so many different levels. Did I mention the great gym with the amazing view of the mountains? I really, really just don't understand anything but the glowing reviews.

Wonderful experience that I would recommend highly!

On a long trip from Reno Nevada home to Florida we looked forward to staying at the WA right off of 80. We have traveled extensively and have stayed at the best hotels worldwide (Penninsula Hong Kong, Four Seasons Cairo, Plaza Athenee Paris). As a member of the "club" I also hoped to be upgraded. We arrived at the hotel and were told that because they were full they couldn't provide an upgrade. OK, we understand. BUT, if this hotel was full I have no idea where the people were hiding. We had a room the size of a postage stamp. As expected the amenities are lovely (towels, robes, water, etc) and the service staff (room attendants) were very nice. However, someone explain to me why the check in staff thinks they are so superior? Their attitude is cool to say the least.
Unfortunately the WA brand is not what it used to be.

The accomodations are excellent. They wait on you hand and foot. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing! It was a wonderful get away. The Spa is luxurious and the staff is trained and excellent. There were activites and a great concierge to direct you to what you desire. Great turn down service. All and All a pampering experiance.
