My wife and I have taken a number of snowmobile tours in Colorado and Utah. The tour at Thousand Peaks was hands down our best to date! The staff is friendly and accommodating. Our guide Don was knowledgable and very personable.
The pace of the tour was good with plenty of "free time" for playing in a large meadow. The trail up to the terminus of the tour wound nicely through beautiful Aspen groves and offered plenty of vistas of the Weber Canyon and beyond while providing fun riding. The equipment and gear were in very good condition.
We will definitely return next year during our stay in Park City.

This is by far the best, most scenic snow mobile trip we have ever done. Been to park city three times and can't believe this is the first time we took the tour. Would highly recommended it for an awesome outdoor adventure. The guide was fantastic, the machines were well maintained and the ranch was beautiful.

Took the 2 hr tour late in the day and we had a blast! My wife, teenage sons, and I rented two sleds and my 9yr daughter rode with our guide most of the time.

Although none of us had ridden before, we all got comfortable with the machines and experienced enough excitement and beautiful scenery for our first time out.

I can understand how an enthusiast might not find the 2hr itinerary exciting, it is PERFECT for families and first-timers.

We went on a 2 hour tour with winds howling between 40-50 mph in some areas. Complete whiteout conditions on top of highest point. We have snowmobiled in CO and NM and this was the worst. Terrible washboard trails, where there are more bumps than smooth areas. We had called that morning to check on conditions with the weather and they said it was o.k. Our tour was at least 30 minutes late in starting due to the weather conditions from the tour before us who couldn't see on the trails. Very disappointed that our tour was not cancelled. Even if the weather was nice, the trails are extremely bumpy. We almost asked for our money back, but decided they wouldn't do it. We had a great guide, but there was nothing he could do about the weather. They definitely need to work on the conditions of their trails. Will not be back.

You are right, a white out snowstorm and a washboard trail is not a good combination. Record heat the day before caused the trails to get bumpy quickly and then the storm hit and we couldn't get the grooming machines on the trails in time. It doesn't happen often and we apologize. "Snow Happens" and thank goodness it does or we couldn't go at all. Sorry it was on a day you came out. We would have been glad to work with you if only we had known. Even if the weather isn't happy, We want all our customers to be.
PS. The same unseasonable heat that degraded our trails, caused other companies at lower elevations to shut down operations completely. We feel lucky.

Top 2 things we have EVER done! The 4 hour tour was so much fun! The guides were very friendly and helpful and the views were breathtaking! We rode trails all the way up the mountain and then were provided a sandwich lunch overlooking a beautiful view (or sometimes they have lunch in a cabin) then we spent over an hour "free riding" in a valley that had hills and open flat land. We were free to try going up and down hills or doing donuts! It was a great day and the best thing your money can buy in the Park City area! Not cheap but worth it if you love adventure!!! Go on this tour!!!!!
