Hampton Inn and Suites Park City
Ranked #21 of 60 Hotels in Park City

Just returned from a week vacation at the Hampton Inn Park City on Landmark Drive. This place just misses the mark. I've stayed at many Hampton Inns and I am a devout customer. They are generally reliable. This property, however, falls short of my other experiences. With no real manager on duty, none of the problems that arose were solved. Our room had some needed repairs. When I complained to the person at the front desk, I was told that the maintenance "guy" would fix everything by the next day. After waiting 3 days for the repairs, I was finally just switched to another room. It is just easier for them to do that than fix anything. The place in general, could be nice, however, without anyone around who really cares, it is showing signs of neglect. Too bad, since the location is good and the ski package deal was great. Hopefully, they will get their act together. By the way, don't expect the person you speak to over the phone to even be employed there by the time you arrive. I must have spoken to 3 different people at the front desk when making my plans. None of them work there any longer. They were actually training a new person.

This is a fairly normal Hampton Inn without anything remarkable from other Hampton inns. Basically clean, comfortable and quiet.

The pool area is fairly large and the breakfast was the usual stuff they do at Hamptons since they started standardizing the places.

It is on the interstate, about six miles from the historical (fun) part of Park City.

Good value for the $,

I booked this hotel based upon many stays at Hampton Inn hotels and its location in Park City, which I had not been to in the past 12 years.
Although the Zip code may be in Park City, the Hotel is acros the street from I80 about 6 miles from Downtown Park City Utah! There is a discount mall adjacent to the property.
The hotel itself was clean and fairly new. Desk staff were friendly. The included breakfast was just Ok, the hot items were empty and the staff was busy with some type of in-house problem which included the police.

By far the best Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at and I've stayed at a lot of them. The summer room rates cannot be beat. Close enough to Olympic Park and Park City Main Street. Ruby Tuesday restaurant in same parking lot. Next door to the Outlet Malls.

We had a brief stay at the Hampton Inn Park City, but thought it was great nonetheless. The location was a few miles outside of town, about a 10 minute drive, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The hotel itself was well maintained and had nice decor (I especially loved the fluffy comforter). The continental breakfast area was lovely and had a nice selection. For anyone who wants to be fairly central to both Salt Lake City and downtown Park City, this hotel would be appropriate.

One would expect much higher standards at Hampton Inn. Upon arrival, the front desk was actually worked by teenagers that had very little experience working with customers. The room assigned was large and clean upon arrival but the maid service went down hill after the first night. One would consider, did they have maids or not? As far as the breakfast....run and run fast! This was one of the worst breakfast bars I have experienced at a Hampton Inn. And frankly, they really didn't care. Do yourself a favor, go to the "No Worries Restaurant" a couple miles away. This Hampton Inn struggles to be a Hampton Inn and I would advise one to use another hotel!

We stayed at this property for 3 nights just after New Years.

The hotel is not really "in" Park City. It is about 5-6 miles to town/ Park City/Deer Valley. It is closer to the Canyons resort. It is convenient to shopping with Redstone plaza and some high end outlet shops.

The property is clean and quiet. The room was average in size. There is an indoor hot tub and pool. Breakfast with a few hot items is included.

It is a good value for the area,if you don't mind a small drive into town.
