Very expensive, the food tastes the same, the drinks are weak and expensive and mandatory gratuity on a buffet - don't bother.

We were looking for something a little different on our trip and had a great dinner at Empire Canyon Lodge. We made reservations two weeks in advance, and found some of the times already filled. Interestingly, we had lunch at the Empire Lodge while skiing a few days prior to our dinner reservation, and were pleasantly surprised to see the inside transformed for the Fireside Dinner. Service for drinks and dish clearing was attentive and prompt. The buffet-style fireside choices were varied and delicious. Everyone in our group enjoyed the evening, especially the dessert! Considering dining prices in PC, we felt the cost was a good value for a complete meal and a unique presentation.
Tip: avoid the sleigh ride out front - unless you want to pay $30 for a 10 minute ride in a tight circle!

This lodge cafeteria provides meals that seem to be a cut above most ski lodge eateries. Over the several years that we have sampled lunches, this place was quick and tasty.

I went here for a Valentine's Day celebration a couple days after the date. Definitely not a romantic setting, even with the fireplaces, as there were a ton of people as well as tables all over. It was quite crowded... Wouldn't have been an issue except for all of the people who chose to have their young children with them. I understand that it's a resort so maybe people don't have too many options, but since when is it okay for your child to run around screaming and playing? Or singing at the top of their lungs, or dancing in the middle of the hallway and kicking people (yes, I got kicked by a child as I tried to pass by them).
The raclette was the best part of the meal and it was pretty good. However, I wasn't overly impressed with the rest of the food. For the price it could have been better, and more options would have been nice. I'm not a fan of lamb so I didn't have a main meat, and the venison/mushroom stew was overpowering. The fondue was decent, but Melting Pot's tends to taste better. Our waitress was pretty bad-- showed up at the beginning, but we had to ask other servers for beverage refills and then she came at the very end when we were obviously done.
I've had better experiences in Park City, for sure.

We found the entire experience overrated and overpriced. The food was okay but none of it was that impressive. It wasn't fun having to serve yourself for that price.
