This is an ordinary motel but the owners make you feel welcome and we brought our dogs and they were very open and willing to accommodate us. It was clean and a perfect location. There are not a lot of choices but this is a good one!!!

This dump has to be the most awful place I have ever stayed in. My wife and I arrived at 2.40pm in the afternoon and the most miserable human sat with, I believe his wife, at the reception desk having a heated argument. They flatly refused to help us and told us we would have to wait until 3pm before we could go to our room even though it was ready. The room was cold, damp and smelly. The whole place needs demolishing!! According to the house keeper, the "manager" is new and him and his wife are an embarrassment and always arguing in front of guests. The bathroom was a total disaster with dripping water supply and luke warm.

We were glad to leave the next day. The manager places a cardboard box on the reception desk for you to put your key in so he does not have to speak to you. I swear this is all true. Go here at your peril.

Room Tip: The best tip I can give is to find somewhere else. Suggest Pine Tree Motel at Bryce Canyon.

Nice clean and comfortable. We stayed one night and have absolutely no complaints about this small local motel. Check in was simple and the clerk was very attentive to the credit card.... I respect that she wouldn't accept my husband's card , but wanted one with my name on it. That's a first for me.... but I'm not complaining because it's nice to ID'd now and then.

Room Tip: There was no noise or anything bothersome at all... I think all rooms would be just fine.

a late september trip to brice canyon and zion proved difficult because of the great distance from the parks to available hotels on priceline and expedia. When they say "convenient for trips to national park" the driving time may be over an hour. the new western hotel is not named Best western" simply because it is a 3rd rate property in worn condition.

Indeed this place feels like you are back in the 50's. Nothing interesing here, only a simple OK sleep. Door doesn't close completely and the watertap was leaking. Bathroom was not very clean. Breakfast was a failure, we could not sit (only 8 chairs). Rooms can get very cold in October.

Room Tip: Don't eat at local pizza place, I found rice in a 20 dollar margerita pizza :S..

Unfortunately Panguitch is a town stuck in the 50's and that includes their motels. This motel is old and run down. I made a reservation well in advance but was placed across the street. I had to wait to get checked in because the person behind the counter was having a heated argument with someone that wanted to cancel their reservation. When I got to my room and put the key card in the slot the door just opened by itself. There was duct tape over the latch with "do not remove" written on it! I could lock the door from the inside but not the outside. When I went back across the street to request a new room I was given a key to use on a recently installed cheap deadbolt. Everything electric in the room was unplugged...I guess to save money. I had to get on my knees to plug in the bedside lamps behind the headboard. The television was old and the reception was awful. Bed was ok and the bathroom was small and seemed clean. For the price I paid ($67) this place is a rip off. I've stayed at run down Motel 6's that were paradise compared to this place. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Room Tip: If possible try to get a room on the same side of the street as the office. Don't know if upsta...

We found ants in our bed. The sheets did not feel clean. The pillows and mattresses were uncomfortable. The television was totally outdated. The nightly charge was ridiculously expensive. The service was nothing to write home about. We left completely disatisfied.

Room Tip: Don't choose this location.
