We staid for two nights in a two queen sized bedroom. The room was tydied but far from clean. A little dusty and the shower did not work properly. It was quiet a fight to get the door closed. The window was broke and could not be opened. Old TV, old beds, thin walls and a very poor breakfast. The personel is friendly and it was no problem to ckeck in very late. We wont come back again.

Panguitch was our stop off point for our visit to Bryce Canyon. First impressions weren't great - an empty tarmac car park, but we'd paid so checked in anyway.

The rooms were functional and clean, although a little dark. The two queen beds were comfortable and as well as the small bathroom, there was a separate room with fridge, ironing board, wash basin. There was also a coffee machine, although the coffee was undrinkable.

The oddest thing was the bible in the bedside cabinet, or rather the Book of Mormon in Chinese!

It was very noisy early morning with other guests coming and going, particularly three German bikers who were very loud in their departure.

Breakfast was buffet style including a waffle machine that another guest kindly explained how to use. From this you can gather that we didn't see many hotel staff during our stay.

Snacks and ice were available from a machine next to the laundry and there was an indoor jacuzzi, but we didn't try it.

Panguitch itself is an odd little town, but more interesting than some reviewers have made it sound. Don't expect to find a bar though. You can get a drink with food, although there is a State Liquor Agency store that sells alcohol at reasonable prices which you then have to drink siting on plastic chairs in the motel car park!

Our stay at this hotel was a very bad experience for us! Starting off with the guy at the reception who tried to charge us for a room that was prepaid (we did a roundtrip in the area). We finally could convince the man that we did already pay for the room in advance, he didn't even appologize for his mistake. The room was dated, had a weird smell, old carpet and that didn't make it appear clean. On the bed a sheet and an old blanket. I tried all night to keep de sheet in a position so I wouldn't have to touch the blanket. After a night like this, we even didn't try the breakfast. There were tunderstorms in the area and that would coninue all week. As we couldn't do our planned hikes and we didn't even consider staying in that room, we left our however prepaid room, checked out and continued our travelling elsewere. I would never go to this hotel again!

We have never seen staff/owners of a hotel so unfriendly and just plain bitter - like they didn't want to be there. And this just wasn't one person on one day. It started with our three calls before the trip and four interactions with them during our stay. Family-friendly? Hardly! They have no cribs, no high chairs, etc and the "family suite" was definitely misrepresented. The check in was poor as was the check out. We specifically requested something on the first floor due to traveling with the family - we confirmed a week before and day of. When we arrived, we were on the top floor, the furthest room from the stairs. It almost seemed deliberate. The breakfast was subpar- appliances not well maintained and they never restocked. First come, first serve and you get crumbs if you have a later breakfast. The room was okay, but I wouldn't go back. On a final note, we are rather low maintenance travelers. We set our expectations accordingly. We set the bar at average to subpar with this place, choosing it solely for it's proximity to Bryce. And our expectations were still not met.

Save your money abd health and Do not go to this dump! The only good thing about it is the location to Bryce Canyon National Park. The staff, which appeared to be the owning family, is very unfriendly and hardly said hello. The included breakfast was acceptable: toast, three types of cereals, waffles. However, the bar wasn't clean, no restocking and the milk was just out in the heat. The room we had (#116 across the street of the new office) looked fine at first glance and very large for three adult travelers with two queens and one twin bed - perfect we thought until we entered. Dust everywhere, the room didn't even seemed vacuumed from the previous people (leftover pieces of chips bags on the floor etc). I saw a fly sitting on the wall that i wanted to kill until i noticed it must've already been squished by a previous guest, don't want to know how long it has been sitting threre. The refrigerator needed deep cleaning before we could store our water & picnic in there as it had a layer of mold inside. The bathroom was super moist and moldy, felt like a swamp literally, even the toilet paper was wet! The next morning I woke up with the worst headache, felt dizzy and nauseous from all the mold and had to leave the room immediately. I have stayed in very simple hotels and backpackers across Europe and Asia but this is by far the worst I have ever experienced. Next time I'd rather save my $100 and put up a tent in the fresh, clean, healthy air of Bryce Canyon!

While the room was nice and clean, the manager needs a lot of training in people skills. He gave an air of disdain to the women
staying there, including my wife. The clothes dryer there in the laundry room ran,but had no heat. When I told the young man at the desk, his response was "Sorry, i will let a service man know." No concern for the money wasted and didn't offer any help until asked. Then he said there was a laundromat at another facilty, and gave it's name only, not how to get there. Our first morning,we talked to 4 ladies that were in a room just down from us, and all 4 remarked how badly they were treated. When we checked in,the manager took the credit card from my wife, and then dealt strictly with me,and gave the card to me,and
did not even address her.Though the accomadations were OK, the general feeling we got from staying there was less than pleasant. The first room they gave us was not a smoking room,as requested, and we were "called down" for being a day late in arriving, when after a second review,we were exactly on time. Then they had us move to a
more appropriate room. The breakfast area was not clean, the milk was sitting out,and the supplies were not restocked,as there was no one overseeing the area. The breakfast area was in need of at least wiping down, and did not get that as guests came & went though the manager was less than 15 feet away.
